Lohee gave Ji-Eun a hug as she passed her the navy blue suitcase from the trunk. Both of them were sad to be leaving each other, but the actress gave her friend a quick smile as she glanced at the distant paparazzi. In a few seconds, she'd be bombarded with flashing lights so she welcomed the moment of peace.
"Remember to call me if there's any problems" Lohee muttered, rambling on in nervousness as she glanced at her watch and turned to the other manager who'd be joining Ji-Eun on the trip.
"And make sure you look after her" she joked, tapping him on the arm playfully.
Her eyes seemed to brighten as she looked at the dark haired boy and Ji-Eun watched the pair in amusement. He was about the same age as her friend but barely spoke, simply replying with a shy smile as he closed the trunk.
"Also keep me updated" Lohee suddenly declared, turning to Ji-Eun with a wink and pulling her aside for a second.
"Huh-?"
"Well I may not be there in person but I want to know of any updates with Chanyeol." she whispered, stepping away to avoid Ji-Eun's angry fists.
"Nothing will happen" She announced, too conscious of the cameras to get angry with her.
"I'm just saying..you never know" she mumbled. "A lot can happen in three weeks"
Before Ji-Eun could think of a comeback the girl had already wandered over to the driver's door, tip-toeing to glance over the top of the car.
"Just try to have fun" she yelled with a bright grin. "It's not everyday you go to Hawaii"
She gave Ji-Eun and her coworker a wave before she climbed inside the black Mercedes. The engine immediately started and as she drove away Ji-Eun could hear music blasting from the stereo.
"Guess it's just us then" she chuckled, turning to the other manager who was still silent behind her.
"It's nice to meet you" she began and pushed her hand towards him. "Kim Ji-Eun"
He stared at the outstretched hand for a moment before he replied.
"Oh Sehun" he mumbled, giving her a grin before he gestured for her to follow him inside.
Ji-Eun turned towards the entrance and Sehun led the way, giving her the chance to look up at the sky for a moment. The sun was covered by grey clouds and a small breeze was creeping through the air but it wasn't too cold.
When she stepped into view some of the fans outside picked up their phones, letting out small yells when she walked past them and catching the attention of the cameramen. She gave them a quick smile and paused for them to take a couple pictures. However, as she stopped a much larger crowd appeared from around the corner, their yells like sirens which grew louder as they moved towards her.
Within a few seconds, she was surrounded and stepped back as they all tried to catch her gaze.
Sehun warned them to keep away but one of larger men was insistent to get closer, yelling questions in her face as she tried to go inside. Ji-Eun was confused by his aggressive reaction but couldn't do anything as everyone began bustling around.
They were all rushing to get closer and camera flashes attacked from all directions as Ji-Eun stood helplessly in the centre.
Sehun attempted to keep them away but he was tiny in comparison to the muscly men who charged forward, pushing him aside with ease.
Ji-Eun tried to find him but he was immediately lost in the sea of screaming fans and she turned, coming face to face with the fan from earlier.
He was barking orders in her face like a rabid dog and was desperate to be heard above the others but Ji-Eun ignored him, simply replying with "Leave me alone, okay?".
When he stopped speaking an angry glare appeared on his face which made Ji-Eun's skin crawl in fear. She backed away and he dropped the camera so it swung onto his neck, his eyes still fixed on her body as he stood opposite her.
She gave him a small smile and tried to escape the situation, but before she could move further a callused hand grabbed her arm. His grip was too strong to break away and he tightened it more as she try to push him off.
"Get off me!" She yelled, kicking him in the shin, but this only seems to anger him more and he let out a deep grunt of irritation.
He turned to face her again with sunken grey eyes and he furrowed his brow, pushing her suitcase so it toppled onto the floor.
"I just wanted to ask you a question" he replied with a slimy grin, stroking her hand with his index finger. "You don't mind do you?"
She flinched at his touch but as he continued to speak Ji-Eun simply nodded her head, unable to look at him.
He gave a content grin to her reply and grabbed a phone from his pocket, finding the camera app to start a live video.
"So your new drama.." he muttered, pushing the phone in front of her face.
"Can you make me a promise?" He asked, giving her a glance which made her too scared to disagree.
Her voice caught in her throat and he watched as she visibly gulped, returning him an uncomfortable smile. He'd shuffled next to her and she could feel his other arm loosen from her wrist.
She tried to separate herself but he immediately snaked it around her waist, sending a shiver up her spine as he pulled her against his side.
Their faces were merely an inch apart and she could hear him breathing heavily beside her, causing her to hold her own breath.
"S-sure" she stuttered.
"We want you to promise not to kiss Park Chanyeol?" He announced, turning to her with bright eyes and pursed lips.
She swore to herself and tried to hide her shock as he stared at her expectantly. No harm would be done, even if she lied.
A sharp pain ran through her side and she looked down at the elbow jabbing into her waist. A hand clutched it in pain but she maintained a calm expression as she replied.
"Well I-" she began, grunting as it was pushed further into her side. A deep breath escaped her lungs and she opened her mouth to continue but a loud voice suddenly interrupted the pair.
She tried to look at the man but the fan was suddenly pulled away, causing her to fall into the stranger's arms before she could catch his face.
"That's not up to you" he declared and lifted her to her feet. He placed his arm around her shoulder and she glanced at the fan lying on the ground.
A group of bodyguards immediately circled the pair, guiding them inside and only leaving when they were safely seated in the first class lounge.
Once they left, Ji-Eun fell into one of the brown leather chairs next to the doorway and stared down at her shaking hands. Her heart was pulsing inside her chest and her eyes stung with the tears threatening to escape.
When she looked up, a familiar pair of brown eyes met with hers, filled will concern as they looked down at her shaking body.
"Are you okay?" He muttered as the first tear soaked her cheek.
