As everyone began filing out of the room, Ji-Eun's eyes met once again with the handsome actor. He was busy chatting with one of the producers and she let out a sigh of disbelief as she ran through what had just happened.
"The company has been wanting to produce a movie for a while and with your chemistry on set, it's the perfect match" a woman smiled, glancing between the pair who sat awkwardly next to each other.
"It's the perfect pair" another jutted in, trying to fill the silence.
"The script reading is set next week and filming starts on the 18th" the woman continued, turning towards her co-producer who stood from his seat.
"We'll see you both soon" he answered and the pair both stood from their chairs simultaneously, leaning forward to shake his hand. The man stared at the two hands awkwardly, wondering which one to take first but Ji-eun stepped backwards, shoving the chair back under the table.
"I look forward to working with you all, but I've got a schedule to get to" she lied, rushing towards the doorway. Lohee followed behind nervously, giving Ji-eun a shocked look to show that she was just as clueless as her about the situation.
Both of them turned to the remaining people and smiled apologetically before quickly leaving the room. As the door slid behind them, Ji-eun let out a deep breath standing in shock for a moment.
"Are you okay?" Lohee muttered, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder
"Sure I am" Ji eun replied with a fake smile, leading her out of the building and collapsing into the back of the van.
"He's back" she mumbled.
_____Ji eun's schedule was packed over the next week but any break she had was filled with thoughts of meeting him again. Clearly he hadn't been pleased to see her as his cold stare had been stuck in her mind ever since, but this only made the fact she was so happy to meet him again more frustrating. It did nothing to stop the feelings from returning.
The internet had been filled with articles since the news was released about their movie and they were streaming with the comments of both pleased and unhappy fans.
I can't believe she's acting with him again. She better not get any ideas, he's way out of her league.
She dropped the phone onto the seat beside her in irritation, trying to focus on the song which was playing loudly on the radio, but she couldn't. Everything was being repeated and she didn't know how to stop it.

On the day of the script reading, Ji-Eun had barely been able to sleep and spent most of the night running her lines in her bedroom, trying to escape her anxiety.
But as she heard the deafening alarm of the doorbell and the face of her manager appeared on screen the reality finally hit her - She was going to see him again.
Ji-eun remained in a state of silent panic on the way there and could feel the wo
"So are you all prepared" Lohee asked and Ji-eun nodded in reply, coughing as she felt a lump building up in her throat. "Yeah I know exactly what I'm doing" she smiled lightly.
After a moment silence filled the space again and her focus moved to the window, watching all of the people passing by and desperately wishing she could be anyone but herself at that moment.
A deep sigh escaped her mouth as they entered the car park of her agency and Ji-eun tried to prepare herself for the events to come, plastering a fake grin on her face. Lohee calmmly opened the door for her with a look of reassurance and and they walked in with pretend confidence, nodding to the receptionist to let them through.
They soon arrived at the meeting room and after a deep breath, Ji-Eun entered, bowing immediately as she opened the door.
"Hello!" She greeted, barely lifting her head to sit down in the nearest seat.
"Oh, hey" a deep voice replied.
Ji-Eun lifted head trying to focus instead on the tall blank walls of the room and searching for another familiar face at the long table, but she soon noticed they were completely alone.
"A few of them went for a quick chat" he muttered and she gave him a nod of recognition, taking a seat at her nametag and quickly flicking to the first page of the script as a distraction from the awkward atmosphere of the room.
Her eyes scanned the page but she soon heard movement from the other end of the room, followed by the squeaking of a chair against the wooden floor as she felt him place himself right next to her.
"Want to practice a bit?" He muttered, smiling for the first time since they'd met again.
Ji-eun stared at him for a moment, forgetting how handsome he was. She was confused by his sudden change in emotion since they'd last met but still nodded her head in agreement, trying not to make it anymore uncomfortable than it already was.
"Let's just start here" he mumbled, pointing to a line on the script with a quick smile to the side.
"Okay" Ji-Eun answered as she began reading her first line.
She placed the script on the table so she could control her nervous hands, looking up at him as he began to speak and clasping her fingers together. His face was calm as he read each word and he wiggled his eyebrows childishly, already into his role. After a few minutes, Ji-Eun began to relax beginning to act like the confident young woman she was portraying and both actors joked with each other as they said their lines.
As the script continued Ji-Eun tapped his shoulder playfully, teasing him about another girl they knew and he continued with a ruffle of her hair, flirting with her. As they spoke, both unknowingly shuffled closer to each other, acting like the close friends they were meant to be.
As They got deeper into their lines and neither of them noticed the growing audience in the room who simply watched in amusement as the actors joked around with each other, pulling each other closer and yelling in frustration.
As they reached the end of the scene, Ji-eun's emotions were high and she almost stood up from her chair as her character yelled one last line to Chanyeol. "
Once she'd finished her she gasped for air and the pair fell silent, still recovering from the scene, but after a moment a thunder of applause filled the room, grabbing the attention of the actors who noticed the people around them who had now filled the room.
Ji-Eun was still crying but she smiled embarrassedly to the rest of the team, glancing over at Chanyeol with a grin who simply gave her a shrug, returning to the same cold expression from when they'd last met.
"I told you they had the perfect chemistry" the female producer yelled, clapping with joy as she looked at the pair.
