<< The Next Day >>

I woke up the next day with a smile on my face knowing I wasn't punished anymore. I got ready for school and I had breakfast. Then I walked to school to see Meredith.

"Hey Gracie,"she said.

"Hey Meredith,"I said and we hugged.

"Are you feeling better?"she asked.

"Yes, much better,"I replied and the bell rang.

"Did you hear?"she asked.

"What?"I asked.

"Guess who's back in town?"she asked.

"Who?"I asked.

"Hayden,"she replied and I froze. She means the guy that cheated on me with emma.

"Um hello? Earth to gracie,"she said.

"What?"I asked.

"Did you hear what I said?"she asked.

"Yes,"I replied and we walked to class but a hand then went on my shoulder.

"Hey gracie,"the voice said. Hayden.

"Hey Hayden,"I said trying so hard not to roll my eyes.

"How are you?"he asked and the bell rang. I was so happy the bell rang cause it gave me an advantage to leave.

<< After School >>

I was walkimg home when I heard someone call me.

"Gracie!"the voice said and I turned around to see hayden.

"How are you? I couldn't ask you earlier cause well.. the bell rang,"he said.

"I'm good and you?"I asked.

"Good,"he replied.

"So how was canada?"I asked.

"So much fun... but I missed you,"he said and my eyes widened.

"I have to go,"I said and I kept walking home but he stopped me again.

"Hey we're good right?"he asked and I looked at him confused.

"You know after what I did,"he said and I rolled my eyes. But I just kept walking.

"Gracie! I want you back!"he yelled out to me and I stopped again.

"Stop lying! You don't love me! Did you seriously come all this way just to say that?!"I yelled back and he sighed.

"I'm not lying,"he said and I didn't care. I just kept walking.

I walked all the way to my room not caring who was trying to talk to me.

But then someone knocked on my door. They came in even if I didn't want them to.

"Gracie someone is here to see you,"sierra said and I just kept my face in ny pillow.
