Part 16

*Selena's POV*

It had been five days since we found out about Ellen being in the hospital and I had been down there with her every day. Justin came along too but he wouldn't even say a word to me. He would just sit in the corner and play on his phone and text people. It was starting to get on my nerves to be honest because he had yet to tell me why he was mad at me.

Every day was basically the same routine. Wake up without Justin being there, get ready. Then go to the hospital, bringing Ellen breakfast. We would talk until about lunch time when Jake would show up every day like clockwork. Justin would practically drag me out of the room with the same excuse that he needed to go to our in home studio and we would leave without even getting to say two words to Jake, which I'm sure was Justin's plan. Then we would go home and Justin would disappear for the rest of the night and I would end up eating along and going to be alone.

But today my hormones were acting up and I was not in the mood to play Justin's stupid games.

"Come on I have to get to the studio," Justin said pulling my arm.

"You know what? You go home. I want to stay here, I'll have Jake drive me home," I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"Excuse me?" Justin said shocked by my outburst.

"I'm tired of you treating me like a rag doll. I am 34 years old. I can make choices by myself and I choose to stay," I stated matter of factly.

"The only reason I even come with you every day is to watch over the baby," Justin said causing Jake's head to snap up and look at us.

"Would you be quiet?" I said throw my teeth.

"Oh are you upset your precious Jake found out you're pregnant? Are you afraid he won't take you back now?" He said as if her were talking to a young child.

"First of all, don't you dare talk to me like that. I am your wife not your punk friends and I am most certainly not your child. And secondly, what in the world are you even talking about?" I exclaimed.

"Oh you know what you're right. He took you once before when you were pregnant. Why would he stop now?" he said throwing his arms up in the air.

"DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT?" I yelled fed up with his little fit.

"I KNOW YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME WITH JAKE OKAY? I HEARD THE ENTIRE CONVERATION! I HEARD YOU TELL HIM THAT YOU STILL LOVE HIM AND YOU ALWAYS WILL! THAT'S RIGHT I HEARD IT ALL! EVERY SINGLE WORD!" he yelled storming out of the room.

Suddenly everything fell into place. It all became so clear as to why he was ignoring me and why he was so upset all the time.

*Justin's POV*

After I blew up I walking out of the room needing to get as far away from Selena and Jake as possible.

Somehow I ended up in the children's part of the hospital and a little girl who reminded me a lot of Bailey came up to me and pug on my pants lightly.

"Are you Justin Bieber?" she asked innocently.

"Yes, I am," I said smiling at her forgetting about all that went down not long ago.

"Would you like to play with me?" she asked raising a baby doll she had in her arms.

I smiled and nodded following her down a brightly painted hallway into a small hospital room.

"Where are your parents?" I asked her after we had played for quite some time, the exact same way I used to play with Emma when she was this little.

"My mom and dad are at home," she answered.

"There you are," I heard someone say as they walked in the room. "I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Well, stop. I'm busy. I'm playing with ..." stopping myself after I realized that I didn't know the little girl's name.

"Ava," she said with a smile.

"We need to talk," Selena said.

"Why would you think I would want to talk to you?" I bite back in a sharp tone.

"Because it's not what you think. You only hear half of the conversation," she tried to explain.

"Oh I'm sorry. Did I miss the part where you tell him how much you wish you could be with him? How much of a mistake choosing me was?"

"I would think you of all people would at least hear me out when they are being accused of cheating," she said shaking her head.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"Need I remind you of what you did with Kate for, god only knows how many months while we were engaged!" she yelled at me.

"Wow, 14 years later and you still haven't gotten over that," I said rolling my eyes.

"THE POINT IS JUSTIN I'M NOT CHEATING ON YOU!" she yelled before collecting herself. "If you would have listened to all that I said you would have hear that I told him I will always love him but I'm not in love with him because I'm in love with you."

"You can have Jake drive you home," I said turning back to Ava who was still in shock over the argument that Selena and I had had in front of her. "I need some time."

'Whatever Justin. Take all the time you need," she huffed before turning to walk out of the room.
