The sun came through my blinds, shining over my face causing me to slowly begin to wake up.

I fluttered my eyes open slowly and stretched my arms out with a loud groan. After stretching, I sat up and rubbed my eyes sleepily.

As the events of the night before hit me, I looked over at my desk, questioning how I got into my bed. I've never been one to sleepwalk but, I've also never been one to cry so I guess things change.

I got out of my bed, sighing to myself before walking out of my room with heavy shoulders.

Upon reaching my kitchen, I glanced around realizing Felix wasn't here nor in the living room. He must've left to sleep last night. He was none of my concern anyways so, it didn't bother me. I walked to my fridge and opened it, taking out my orange juice carton only to drink it straight out of the carton.

"That's disgusting."

Once I heard the voice, I choked on my orange juice and immediately turned around. Of course, there stood Felix with a grossed out look sprawled across his face.

Seeing his facial expression caused me to laugh, "It's not disgusting if it's my own orange juice."

"Nope still pretty disgusting," he stated before nonchalantly reaching his hand out to my face and wiping the corner of my lips with his thumb.

As he pulled his hand away, I stared at him with a mix of shock and confusion.

He noticed me staring at him and stared back at me with an even more confused face, "What?"

I shook my head and looked away, clearing my throat, "Nothing, you're just weird."

Turning my back to him, I put the carton away and closed the fridge.

"Weird? How am I weird?"

After closing the fridge, I turned back to him and shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know. You're just weird." I replied as I walked past him to the living room.

He followed behind me and when I sat down, he sat down on the other side of the couch not too far away from me.

Grabbing the remote, I turned the TV on and curled my legs up on the couch.

"So what are the plans for today?" I asked while still staring at the television.

"There are no plans for now. Give yourself time. There's no reason to rush."

I was taken aback by his words and I turned my attention towards him, "What do you mean, give myself time?"

He looked at me solemnly, "Some things are worth waiting for. You will find someone but, right now isn't the right time. You need to learn to love yourself before you can learn to love anyone else."

I opened my mouth to speak but, I was struck speechless. There was nothing I could say to that. I looked down and thought to myself for a moment. His words replayed through my mind again and I took a deep breath, letting a small yet distant smile spread across my face as I looked back up.

"We will find you someone and when we do I expect to see a smile on your face and not your usual cranky look. Deal?" He joked with a bright smile.

I couldn't help but laugh and nod my head, "Deal."

He held his pinky out to me jokingly, "Pinky swear on it and I'll believe you."

"Why are you so weird?" I laughed again while shaking my head at his childlike action before interlocking my pinky with his, "I pinky swear."
