Chapter Two

Today was Esmeralda's shop opening,'The  Flower Haven' she called it. She was planning on throwing a party,although she wasn't that rich. She planned on just inviting friends and family. She was a person that loved Nature,so she studied and became a Horticulturist.

Her mother supported her through and through but her dad disagreed with her on the fact that after going to college and getting good grades,she decided to invest her tine and money on 'grass' like he would say,but that didn't deter her from her dream and love.

She had an elder sister,a top model, who despised her because of her job, and a younger brother who treasured her and she loved him also. She never understood why her sister wanted to become a model but she suspected that it was because of the fame,wealth and all those nonsense paparazzi.

She hated them and what they did to people's lives,although she hated rich people,she thought they didn't deserve all the things that were written about them in the tabloids,but she couldn't care less if they went to hell.They were snobs and cheats anyways.

'Ring, ring, ring', Esmeralda's phone was ringing of the hook lately due to people hearing about the shop she was opening.'Hello, who is this please? ',she replied.'It's your worst nightmare come to reality, hahaha ',someone replied.'Oh Pia, it's you,you do know that catchphrase is getting old right,  anyways , how is your day going dear? '.

'Let me be, suka, Day's not that bad, dearie, but I have good news for you, my dear best friend '. 'Come on gal, spill'. Esmeralda was wondering what good news Pia had for her, it had been quite a while since she had heard good news from Pia's side,

'I just got a job at a big company named 'The One' as an executive secretary,darling,and guess what,its not too far from your shop, so anytime during lunch break, I might be able to visit you,babe!!!!!!'.Pia replied her, screaming into the phone.

'You do know I can hear you quite well, don't turn me deaf yet, ok, but a big congrats to you gal, you really do deserve it anyway',Esmeralda replied, she was really happy for Pia, as it was time Pia got a job where she was respected and not used or harassed, at least this time she would have a lot of people she could order here and there, not the other way around.

'You know you're welcome here at my shop and house at anytime you wish to drop in, chica got ya ok?', Esme said. 'Thanks,babe but i got to go,talk to you ,ok? ',Pia replied. 'No problem,gal,don't forget to attend my shop opening party, bye and take care of yourself for me ',Esmeralda replied .

She disconnected the call,and went back to her preparations for the next day.She hoped Pia wouldn't forget to come for the party,cause Pia was more than a friend,she was like a sister to her, at least she was way better than the biological sister she had who thought she was better than everyone.
