Jungkook’s POV
9:53 pm
I wipe off the last table for the night and sigh, shaking my head at Yoongi, who was at the table, playing some game on his phone.
“I’m finished, let's go home,” I tell him, untying my work apron.
He turns off his phone and places it in his front pocket when he stands up. I walk over to the back kitchen, knocking on the counter.
“Let’s close up, no one's gonna come for the last-” I check my watch and continue, “like five minutes.”
“You don't know that,” Hoseok starts,
“You might finally meet a girl, you desperately need a girlfriend.”
Everyone besides me starts bursting in laughter, Hoseok slapping me on the shoulder.
“Too bad you don't have this face,” Seokjin smirks, waving his hand over his face.
“You would get all the ladies," He wiggles his eyebrows.
“I don't need a girlfriend, I don't need to meet girls like you guys,” I unfold my arms and turn to the cash register,
“If it happens, it happens, I'm not going out of my way to find a girlfriend.” I roll my eyes, signing out if the cash register.
I go to turn off the open sign but I hear the bell of the door ring. Half annoyed, I tell the customer,
“I’m sorry we are about to close-” I stop when I see a girl, sweat pouring down her face, mixed along with tears. She had looked quite frightened.
“PLEASE HELP ME!” She yells, grabbing a hold of my hand.
The boys run over to the scene, confused at what was happening.
“Huh? What's the-” She cuts me off quickly,
“I need to hide! QUICKLY!!”
Tears continue to run down her face, hard shaky breaths leave her lips. I feel her hands tremble under my fingertips.
Before I could process anything, Yoongi quickly grabs the girls arm, dragging her behind the kitchen counter. Yoongi slowly walks away from the counter and whispers to us,
“Pretend you're closing up, like you were before,” Yoongi grabs the wet cloth that I left on the table, wiping the table over again. The boys scatter pretending to do something as well.
Yoongi was always smart when it came to this stuff...
I place the switch of the open sign in my hand like I did before but get interrupted once again with the door chime. I sigh and repeat myself,
“Sorry we're closed, you can come again tomorrow.”
I look over at the door and see a man with all black on with a mask over his face with his hands in his pockets, the man looks around the room, almost searching for something.
“Did you need something?” I ask, trying to get a good look at his face, but can't because of the combination of hat and face mask.
He leaves once again, running down the street. I watch as he crosses the street to the next open place. I quickly flick the switch, turning off the open sign.
My breathing suddenly starts becoming more normal and walk over to where the girl is. She was huddled in the corner, biting her lip, trying to hold in her tears.
Jimin soon crouched down with her, rubbing her shoulder, telling her it was okay.
He then looks up at me,
