Yerin’s POV
12:03 am
We arrive at their house, it was pretty big in size. Almost too big for people working at a restaurant.
I mean, I am a waitress myself so I know what minimum wage gives you, it's definitely not this, even if you blend all seven wages together...
Mrs. Min didn't even set foot in the house. She just bid her goodbyes, telling them to take care of me and left, leaving me with the seven strangers.
I walk into the house, which was almost like a mansion. It was very fancy yet it was cozy considering the fact that clothes were lying around and empty takeout boxes were everywhere.
“Sorry for the mess, we weren't expecting any guests,” one of the guys start picking up the scattered objects, trying to clean up,
“I’m Seokjin btw, but you can call me Jin” He looks up at me with a smile and then continues clearing away,
I gasped, realizing that I haven't introduced myself yet.
“Um...I’m Yerin, Kang Yerin! Thank you for letting me stay at your house,” I bow, thanking them,
They all nod and split doing their own things without introducing themselves back.
Well, there goes the idea of introductions.
I feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see Jungkook holding out some clothes,
“We'll get your things tomorrow, just wear this for now.”
I gently take it in my hands and he walks away without saying anything more but stops when he reaches a door.
“Oh yeah, this is your room…” Jungkook taps the door and continues on his way.
I walk over to the room, opening the door to see a small really clean bedroom. I lay the clothes that he gave me on the desk in front of me and start looking around the room. It was quite empty, it had no pictures, no wall art, no personal belongings, just the basic things such as a bed, a desk, and a closet.
I close the door to get changed noticing that there was a mirror attached to it.
I take off my large hoodie and slip off leggings, putting on his white shirt and sweatpants, it had a sweet masculine smell, which I was very attracted to it. It was quite baggy and long on me but I didn't really care. I slide off the hair buckle that was on my wrist and place my hair up into a messy bun.
I sit on the bed with my half dead phone in my hands, just staring at the empty wall. I start thinking about today's events.
I almost got killed.
You almost got killed, Yerin.
I cover my face with my hands, mentally screaming.
I also watched someone get killed.
I start to tear up but I quickly wipe my tears and look at myself in the mirror.
I watched someone get killed again.
I lie back on the comfy bed, putting my arm over my eyes, shutting out the world,
Well, try to at least.
That stops when I hear a knock on the door, I sit up and wipe the recent tears that had fallen.
“Come in,” I say in a shaky voice that I never meant to use.
Jimin slowly opens the door with a soft smile, walking in with a glass of water.
“I got you some water,” He sits next to me with caring eyes,
Thanking him, I take a sip.
“If you need anything just ask me, okay?” he smiles at me once again looking into my eyes.
I nod and he quickly looks away, clearing his throat,
“I mean...um…any of us, you can ask any of us!” He mumbles trying to clarify himself with a slight blush on his face which I think is cute,
“Okay,” I giggle at him and his cuteness,
“Oh, I’m Jimin by the way, if you didn't know,” He scratches his head.
We sit in silence for a while as I drink the water he brought me. He awkwardly gets up and starts fumbling with his hands,
“Ah...I'll leave you alone now...um...if you need anything, I'm just down the end of the hall,”
I smile at his cute stutter, nodding at him.
He leaves the room, closing the door behind him. I sigh once he leaves,
This day has been really hectic.
I lay the empty glass down on the desk along with my phone and lie back down on the bed, covering myself up with the bed sheets.
I think about the events of today for a while but before I know it, I fall asleep…
--
4:36 am
I gasp and quickly sit up, sweat was dripping down my face. It felt like I couldn't breathe, I try to regulate my breathing.
I had that nightmare again…
Almost every night I have a replaying nightmare, flashbacks of a childhood memory that has scarred me for life. I wish I could just forget about it but this keeps reminding me of it every day, making my life miserable.
I take in my surroundings, remembering I'm not home. I sigh and uncover myself, getting up out of bed.
I need water…
I pick up my glass from earlier and open the door quietly. I see that a light is still on, I follow it hoping that it's their kitchen. Peeking around the corner I see a good looking man leaning on the fridge drinking a bottle of flavoured water, he notices me and smiles.
“Do you need anything Yerin?”
His deep voice rings through my ears, I become amazed at how amazing it sounds. I snap out of it and tell him,
“Ah...I just came out for some water...”
He walks over, reaching for my glass. He brushes his hands on mine and I blush. I watch him grab the water jug from the fridge and start to zone out.
Yerin! You're making it obvious that you're not really experienced with boys! Well I mean besides Chulwoo- Wait! Stop thinking about him!
I shake my head, getting rid of the thoughts and the boy had already poured up my glass. I pick it up, taking a small sip.
“Thank you...um?” I question, hoping to get his name.
“Taehyung,” He adds with a chuckle,
“It's nice meeting you, Kang Yerin.” He leaves the kitchen with a wave,
I put my hand over my thumping heart.
Living with seven good-looking men is going to be hard.
