Kilee's POV

I looked up, and a big red bus was in front of me parked by the curb. On it were five boys, all holding microphones and singing. Above them were the words One Direction. "What," I thought. "Some kind of band?"

I saw the doors to the bus open, and someone walked out. I immediately recognized him from the bus picture.

"Are you alright love?" He said. He had a thick British accent.

Wait, was he talking to me? He was looking at me straight in the eyes.

"Um... yeah. Yeah I'm fine." I answered.

"You sure? If not we can help you." He said.

I did need help, but I wasn't sure about asking some stranger. Could I trust him and the rest of his friends on the bus?

"Don't worry, you can trust me." He said as if reading my mind. "Do you know who I am?" He asked.

I shook my head.

"I'm part of this boy band here" He said pointing to the bus. "My name is Liam."

There was a moment of silence.

"Would you like to come on the bus for a little bit? You're soaked and shivering. We can give you a blanket." He asked.

"Um..." I wasn't so sure. Maybe just for a second, because I was really cold.

"Ok." I said quietly.

"Great! C'mon then!" Liam said happily. He put his arm around me, which made me feel safe and secure. "But first, what's your name?" He asked.

"Kilee." I answered.

"Beautiful name, Kilee." He said. Liam guided me into the bus, and I immediately felt a blast of heat.

Inside was the rest of the boy band. Or, some of them. Liam grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around me.

"Hey guys! Listen up! Louis, wake up Zayn." Liam said. The one sitting in a bean bag with a computer stood up.

"Zayn. Zayn wake up lad." He said shaking the guy sleeping on the couch.

Another one walked out of a room full of bunk beds. "What is it Liam?" He asked, then he noticed me. "Oh hello!"

Once everyone was awake, Liam spoke. "This is Kilee, she's gonna hang out with us for a bit."

"Liam, can I drive now?" The driver asked.

"Well... are you planning on going back to that bench?" He asked me.

"Well I don't really have anywhere to go so I guess not." I said quietly.

"No where else to go? What do you mean?" He asked concerned.

"I'm an orphan. I sleep in Central Park." I answered.

"That's awful! Do you want to stay here for the night? We're headed to our next concert in Manhattan, then we're on the road again."

"Really?" I asked, "You... you would do that?"

"Of course!"

"Liam!" The bus driver said. "Any day now."

"Well... yes I'll stay." I answered. The bus took off.

"Right then, let us introduce ourselves. I'm Liam Payne." He said with a warm smile.

"I'm Louis Tomlinson." The next one said. He had a British accent too, I think they all did. He was wearing a black tank top with jeans and vans. He had lots of tattoos, like most of them.

The one holding a guitar went next. "I'm Niall Horan." Never mind, his accent was Irish. He was the only one with no visible tattoos. He wore a black shirt with jeans, high tops, and a SnapBack.

"I'm Harry Styles. This one had long hair tied up in a scarf, and was wearing a black shirt and black pants.

"And my name's Zayn Malik." The last one said. But with his accent it sounded like "And my nem's Zen Malik."

"We have to go to our concert. Do you want to come, or would you rather stay here?" Liam said as the bus pulled up to a large building. I could see a big group of girls holding posters and screaming.

"Um.. I'll stay here."

"Ok, we won't be back for a couple hours. Sure you'll be alright?"

"Yeah." I answered.

"All right. Harry, can you show her the shower so she can get washed up?"

"Of course." Harry said.

One by one they got off the bus, except Harry who stayed.

"The shower is right here in this tiny bathroom of ours." He said opening a door. "You just turn the knob left for hot, right for cold, then when it's at the temperature you want pull the lever."

"Ok." I said quietly.

"Here," He said. He walked to a bunk bed and pulled out a big gray sweater. "You can wear this when you're done with the pants you're wearing now."

"Ok." I said again.

"Ok, I'm gonna go now. You sure you'll be alright here by yourself?" He asked.

"Yes, can you just lock the bus?" I asked.

"Yes, of course. Oh, and help yourself to any of the food in the cupboards and fridge."

"Ok. Thank you so much." I said.

"Of course love! We'll be back later tonight." He walked out with the bus driver and the doors shut. I could see girls out the window screaming and chasing after him as he ran inside.

In that moment, I was shocked. No one had ever done anything like this for me in five years. Why were they being so nice?

I took off the blanket, and decided to shower. I was dirty and probably stunk bad, so I needed it desperately.

I took of all of my dirty clothes, turned on the shower to hot water, and got in. And wow it felt amazing! I wanted to stay in there forever.

After washing my body and hair, I got out, dried off, and put the black leggings I was wearing back on. Then Harry's sweater. It was way oversized, cozy, and smelled like cologne.

My stomach growled so I looked at their snack choices. There was a variety of healthy and junk food. I had a little bit of both.

After finishing an apple, I yawned. I grabbed the blanket and a pillow from the conch then laid down. The events of today had passed by in a blur, and all I wanted to do was just sleep instead of think about everything. My eyelids grew heavy and soon I peacefully dreaming, in a boy band's tour bus.
