her grandparents on her mothers side where both clanborn, pureblood kind of sh*t. they ran away because the leader was being a d*ck and kicking out all those who weren't pureclan so as a big ol f*ck you they left. they eventually had kits with the help of the medicine cat that ran away as well as their friends.

so they've got this little rogue clan thing going on with all their not so pure friends. the place they ran to wasn't that good but it was their best choice. it wasn't occupied with any twolegs anymore and no right-minded clancat or housecat would willingly go there if they didn't want their legs and paws sliced to a f*cking twig(it was an abandoned glass factory).

eventually their kits grew up, including owlcall. they got permission from starclan to be considered a legit clan with a leader, deputy and warrior names because enough cats left riverclan to join them that there was more cats there than in one of the four clans. owlcall grew up to be a rambunctious young she-cat, with a flare for hunting in the trees rather than water areas.(her parents were thrilled with this fact, cause f*ck the river) whilst exploring the trees she met a young tom. he was part of the remains of the ancient clan, skyclan. (yes, skyclan. if its too gary-stu/mary-sue I'll change that) his name, was finchflight.

they immediately hit it off, bonding over their clans' somewhat rebellious natures and their dislike for the four clans. when owlcall told her parents about finchflight they were concerned for their daughter. on one hand, it was a stranger from a clan they'd only heard about in legend. on the other hand, he was kind, chivalrous and above all, as rebellious as they were in their youth. in the end, a feud between the two couples drove owlcall to leave their clan with finchflight after they found out that a while back she had his kits. the only place they would ever be welcomed again?

owlcall really didn't want to join that wicked clan, but she soon found that the newest leader was WAY more chill. the way he didn't permit cats to be in charge was not based on purity, but sickness. (haha get f*cked flameleaf)they took their kits and ran, those kits being , hawkkit(pelt), dovekit(claw) and sparrowkit(tail).

the eldest, Hawkpelt, was a rambunctious young warrior, his stature rivaling that of a thunderclan warrior despite his blood being of river and sky. his grey, dappled pelt more like his mothers, as well as his personality.

doveclaw, the second eldest, grew to be one of the most efficient medicine cats the clan had seen in a long time, her herbs were new and harvested from an unknown area(skyclan territory i guess??) but they trusted her nonetheless.her golden ginger pelt surprising even her father, whose pelt was ginger, but still adorned with white blotches.

Sparrowtail, the youngest, was a litter after the others. her pelt was much like her fathers, except instead of being orange with white patterns, she was white with orange patterns. she still experienced a bit of life at the twolegplace, but she was far too young to remember any of it. her siblings memories, whilst fuzzy, still serve as a legitimate source of information to what it was like back then with their flashbacks being a description of it in the book(s). she grew to be a medicine cat, the apprentice of her sister. when sparrowtail died the first time (long story) her role was taken by HER apprentice, Halfpelt. when she came back (again, long story) halfpelt had already taken an apprentice. seeing that she was no longer needed sparrowtail resigned as medicine cat and decided to train to become a warrior. with the help of her "friend" spottedrain, she learned to fight and used her skyclan legs to bring a new kind of combat to her clan. with odd twists and leaps she took down her enemies and even taught her clan something in return for them teaching her herbs and bites.

in the end sparrowtail was a cat born of riverclan, rogue and skyclan descent. an odd mashup, yes, but a kickass climber.
