Gabriel was in the cemetery of Hogwarts. It had taken him a few weeks and many discussions with his mother to decide to come here. To return to his school and enter this place where he had never been before.
Among the graves of the most imminent wizards in the world, he had looked for Harry Potter. He could not bring himself to say that this man was his father because Draco Malfoy was his father and he could not have two of them.
- I did not think you would come here.
Gabriel recognized Ginny Potter's voice behind him. She seemed much sweeter than the last time he had heard it.
- Excuse me, I'll leave you alone
- No, leftovers, I'm sure he's glad you come to see him.
Ginny was really touched that Gabriel had come. It meant that he had decided to give Harry a role in his life and she was glad that Harry's son did not completely turn his back on him.
She shifted a few bouquets filed by anonymous people to pay homage to Harry Potter. Nobody really knew what had happened, but he knew he had participated greatly in the fall of the Dark Lord. She then put the little bouquet she had made herself.
- Do you come here often to collect yourself?
- Once a week. I go to the hospital first, and then to here.
A silence ensued as everyone remembered the painful scene in the hospital.
- I'm not going to the hospital anymore ... now.
- She's not in the hospital anyway ... she went out ... a few weeks ago ...
Gabriel wanted to give the information to the one he still considered the best friend of his mother, despite the argument he had attended.
- She lives at the mansion, with us now
Ginny refrained from adding sarcastically that Draco must be glad to have her as a guest. She just nodded.
- You can come and see her if you want, I'm sure she'll be happy to see you
- Thank you
Gabriel put down the flowers he had brought. He chose a location right next to that of Mrs. Potter, who had closed her eyes, giving a silent prayer to her husband.
- Finally, she made the right choice by making you a Malfoy, you are a handsome young man intelligent and kind ... as was Harry at your age ...
It did not make him really happy to be compared to Harry Potter rather than Draco Malfoy, but she could not know he would not take that sentence as a compliment. He tried to be pleasant and smiled at the witch. He told him what he thought from the bottom of his heart:
"I am sure I would have been very happy with you, if she had entrusted me with your care, if she had chosen you rather than my father.
She smiles to thank him for his words. She closed her eyes. And Gabriel left, hoping that she would eventually forgive her mother what she had done and that he would have the opportunity to see her soon to visit him at the manor.
The Malfoy home, at the same time, was almost empty. Hermione was alone. The master of the house had gone to see friends and his son was on the grave of ... his father. She spent the evening alone in her room, admiring through the window, the superb view of the gardens. At this time, the declining sunlight gave the trees, flowers and water pools of beautiful golden colors.
Brazea, the house elf had brought him a meal. Hermione was very fond of Brazea, who was a house elf like any other. She had been surprised by the way Gabriel treated her. He was really nice to her, never asking too much at once. She felt like he was considering her as a friend and Hermione guessed that she must have been a little nanny when he was younger. Draco's behavior was also friendly to Brazea. Even Harry and Ron did not treat elves as well as he did.
