Michael's POV

I woke up to the shaking of my shoulder, I turn over and see Tianna, already fully dressed, pull me up. I look over at the clock.

"You woke me up at 4:30 in the morning?" I yawn and stretched.

"She said 6 hours, it was twelve when we went to bed, we have to be there by 6, So we are going to the shooting range now, before we go,"

"But I'll only have a day's training," I say, grabbing a towel.

"A day is all we are going to get, plus, I'm a pretty good aim,"

"Huh?"

"I'll tell you later, get ready, then we'll eat breakfast and go," she walked out and I did so. I came back with a white shirt with a black jacket and black pants. She wore a tank top under a plad turquoise shirt, with jeans and tennis shoes.

"Here, a veggie omelette with cheese," Eat quickly, we have to be there by 5," she said. I ate and soon we headed out, through the back door, to not be seen, and headed over to the car. It was about a 30 minute drive to an outdoor shooting range. We hopped out, and met with Marlow, the owner, and he helped me.

"First, place one foot back, to keep you steady. Then, pull it up , and pullback the grey piece," I did so, pulled, and heard the metal rub and the sound of clicking.

"Good, now it's cocked, now, point it at the target, and look through the top, to where there's two small points, on each side, that's where you should look to take aim, and then pull back, and....." I did everything he said, and shot, and it went dead center.

"Not bad for a beginner, now, you're ready for moving targets," he walked me over to another side of the range, about a few feet, and placed me next to Tianna, who was.....Wow, I didn't know she was that good. She was so focused she didn't notice me, and shot at a fast moving target moving to the side, up and down, straight toward her, and above her.

"Nice shot missy" he said. She took off her ear phones, and smiled. I put on my own, along with my glasses, and I started shooting, I flinched a bit, but I finally got used to it. I checked my watch, 5:30, so I tapped her shoulder, and she looked at me, I nodded, and we began to leave.

"Nice work Mike, here's your license, and here's the weapon you wanted," he said, and handed Tianna a box. We thanked him, and went back to the car, David, also had a gun on him, in case we needed back up. While we drove there, she took out the contents of the box.

"What kind are they?" I asked.

"9 millimeter glock, the official police weapon, my dad is letting me barrow his, so I also got this," She took out a long barreled gun, and I took it out, it looked, western like.

"22 Revolver,"

"You're scaring me, how do you even know this,"

"I have my ways, but listen, no matter what happens, shoot to kill if necessary,"

"But I don't want to kill anyone, I CAN'T, I've never killed anyone, or anything, I can't even kill a bug, I don't know if I can do this," I say and clutched gun, I'm not the killing type, it's not how I work, killing is so wrong, but I-I don't know what to do.

"You won't, unless you need to, I've never killed anyone either, and I really don't want to, but if they pull theirs first, then it's self defense, but hopefully, it goes smoothly, ok?" I nod. She sighed and gave me a hug.

"Look, I'll do the shooting, you get Janet, I'll back you up, is that better?"

"Yes, but if you need me to, then I will," I say she nodded, and before I knew it, we were driving off road, and kept going until we seemed far enough from civilization.
