The prodigal son returns - chapter 4

Declan's POV

It had just past 3 am everyone including Declan had left the condo Skye shared with her cousin. There was so much going through his mind and he just needed an outlet so he decided to link up with some of his buddies for a couple of drink at their favourite club in west Hollywood. He wasn't happy that Skye hadn't told him she was moving to L.A, he knew she hadn't finished college so what was her reason for moving London to L.A away from her immediate family? The truth was he had actually been avoiding Skye these past months usually they would speak on the phone, facetime or just text each other but he had a secret of his own he couldn't bear to tell her but it was something she needed to know before it was too late.

Declan pulled up at the valet spot and handed the guy his keys then proceeded to walk into the club via the side entrance, he couldn't be seen entering this kind of establishment there had always been a side entrance for the club's prominent guest. The club was bigger than it looked from the outside, there was the main club where the A-List tend to let loose and have fun without worrying about someone taking pictures or videos of them doing things they shouldn't be doing and selling it to TMZ, that was a major rule of the club (no phones past the point of entry) and people were more than happy to comply because they paid a lot of money to be part of this kind of club or even get into the club. The further you went into the club the darker it got and with darkness came secrets and secrets came with security. Declan flashed his black card at the security guard at the door and with that he opened the door for Declan to a different world. Declan was greeted by a young lady asking for his jacket then handing him a cigar and a Hennessey on the rocks.

"Good evening Mr Vander Waltz, would you like a key today?" the young lady asked.

"Not today Stella, I'm here to meet the boys are they here yet?" he replied with a subtle smile, he would come for the key tomorrow.

"Yes Mr Van der Waltz they're in room 15, would you like me to bring anymore bottles of drinks to the room" Stela asked Declan as he stared walking away and replied with just a nod.

As Declan walked to the allocated room he could see politicians, aristocratic man and people of power in one room some enjoying the view of young ladies prancing around with little to no clothing on and some making business deals, he just thought to himself there was a reason why this place was a secret and that the way they all liked it. He has finally found room 15 and walked in to find his friends enjoying the company the hostesses a few of them a little too much.

"Nathaniel find yourself a room, you horny little shit" Dec advised his closest friend

"Piss off you wanker, where the hell have you been? You were supposed to be here an hour ago" Nate shot back at back at Dec.

"I told you I went to see Skye" he answered honestly and as he finished his sentence his friends proceeded to grown, they all knew the story behind Skye she was never a secret but they also knew that everything was about to go pair shaped when Declan finally tells her his secret.

"Guys nothing happened, her friends and my sister were there and she was acting supper weird" telling them

"Do you think she knows? You sister might have told her" Richard asked.

"No my sister would never do that and plus she knows I would kill her with my bare hands if she ever tried that bullshit"

"Dude you've got to tell her, it's not fair on Skye or Eleanor" Payton added

"Dude you think I don't know that she asked me to come by today so we can talk so I'm going to tell her then" he told his friends.

Richard 'Dick' Prescott

Dick has known Declan since the sixth grade. His name perfectly described him perfectly he was dick especially to the girls he dated but Declan had been telling him for the longest amount of time that he would meet a girl that would do exactly the same thing he has been doing to all these girls but he never listened. When it came to his family and friends he would do whatever he could to protect them and that one of the things Declan loved about him.

Payton 'Pay' Hunt

Payton is more sensitive than the rest of them, he had been with his girlfriend for 5 years and had never once cheated on her. He was basically the guy that kept us all on the straight and narrow when we needed to be reined in. he was first point of contact when we needed advice for anything.

Nathaniel 'Nate' Vanderbilt

Nate is Declan's bestfriend they had known each other since birth because their parents were really good friends so their kid became good friends too. Nate was one of the first people to find out about Skype, when Dec had returned back from his vacation he had told Nate the whole encounter with Skye. Nate loved Skye like a sister they had met each other and built their own relationship through the years.

David 'Spence' Spencer

Spence was the cockiest guy Declan had ever met and because of that Dec hated him when they first met, they even managed to get into a physical fight with each other but as time went on they got to know each other and realised they had quiet a lot in common even though they came from different backgrounds.  What most people didn't know was that Spence was really down to earth.

Denzel 'Blake' Blakeley

Denzel was was much quieter than the rest of the guys, he had been through quiet a lot whiles growing up and he never really spoke about his past and this caused him to have a mystical illustrious about him. He was introduced to the guys by Spence who had know him for a while and he always tried to look out for him.  Even though he was the newest member of the group he already had his own special places in the group.

Declan's POV

Something was defiantly up with Skye, I couldn't believe it when I had heard she was in L.A and she hadn't told me or contacted in fact she had moved her whole life here and couldn't be bothered to tell me fuck that shit she better have a good explanation for all this secrecy.
