Your parents looked down at us.

"An alcoholic and a suicide-girl found each other, the desperate couple", they said.

She cried on the court day, but why did she leave the hospital for good after a month and then never came back.

Your own mother stopped trying. Then I decided that I would never ask what happened to you. Neither ask you, nor myself.

I wanted to pity you. But who would pity me? All I had was some debts and a small apartment that stayed empty.

My 'girlfriend' left me exactly next day. I came back home shaking, after the accident. Your emotionless face never leaving my mind, picture of your body being taken away by ambulance scared me to the point I couldn't stand properly. I slid down my main door, crying mess. Rain poured again with new strength letting me know that this day is the same as the any other days of mine. The way it should be. The way my life goes.

She came down with a suitcase. She looked at me once before saying,

"Step out of my way."

Though, I always had a bag with fruits for you. You never ate them, but I always hoped that one day you will open your eyes to see fresh fruits on the side table instead of your angry mum and dark past that led you to this antipode of you life — white and clean hospital room.
