It felt like it'd been forever. I never saw you smile or move your body. For me, you always smelled like blood, or medicine.

Every day I visited your hospital. When I saw needles in your skin doing their work to keep you alive I thought that they were helping only me.

It's bad to say, but your body helped me to forget my problems. Who knew what ever was on your mind.

Did you want to be doctor. Saving other people's lives before you end yours. Maybe a soldier? Instead of laying on the hospital bed under blinding white sheets, you wanted to be strong.

But you never were strong enough even to continue your life.

So why would you jump onto the road after it had just stopped raining.
