Chapter 8

Jungkook POV

I walked outside the dorm to have a smoke and got called by a friend of mine that wanted to see me and hang out. Walking over I saw some more guys I recognized and greeted them.

"Sup Kook, it's been a while," Myunoo said.

"It has, what's up?"

"We got a party coming up and I know you don't have anything coming up so wondering if you would show up at this party?"

"Sure why not? Since I don't have anything else to do like you said and I'm feeling pretty good so why the fuck not," I smiled.

"Cool, by the way I heard from Yeri of what happened. I'm sorry on my behalf," he said.

"What about Lisa?"

"No clue, ever since they found out that Yeri was for sure pregnant she was with her hand and foot so no telling if she's even alive because she's been with Yeri since they last saw you."

I nodded and conversated with them about anything and nothing. I looked through my phone and a name popped up that I haven't seen in a while and had to take it.

"Jungkook....so you know how to answer your phone huh?"

"It's been a while Chen hyung," I replied.

"Still respectful too? Anyways I have a job for you. Meet me at your job tonight and I'll let you know what's up," he said hanging up afterwards.

I sighed as I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. That man.... If he wasn't the reason that me and brothers got out of that mess back then I wouldn't give a damn about anything he had for me.

I left to go see Jin hyung since I didn't go that night and decided to listen to some music and people watch.

"Kookie! Hey it's been a bit," Jin hyung said waving.

"It has, how are you?"

"I'm well, the usual? I'll sit with you since my break just started it and it's on me."

I nodded and sat somewhere as I waited for him. Once he was done and he seated himself across from me with my order and what he wanted and got caught up on what happened when they went out.

"So I didn't know that you three worked at that place downtown," he started.

I choked and shushed him looking around.

"Did Taehyung open his big ass mouth?"

"When doesn't he? And it's alright I've been there before and didn't see you guys there that's why I was surprised."

"Yea we do, I mean if you want to come tonight since we're performing," I said looking away in embarrassment.

"I'd love to....... Ya know you're different when you're alone."

"Huh?"

"You're usually the rebel out of the group or the bad boy since you would smoke and be with countless girls and such."

I'm not surprised that he knows this seeing that when the cafe isn't busy he's either cleaning up or people watching. I sighed and slouched a bit.

"You're probably a really nice guy to be around," he pointed out.

"I could be, just like to hang about whether it's good or bad stuff I guess."

We talked about random stuff and enjoyed his company. Just as we got up to go our separate ways, Jin trips and was caught by the same blonde guy from before.
