Aoi's POV:

I was on my way to the game store to buy the last part of the otome game I have recently been interested in. As I was walking in the street, I suddenly tripped and before I could even stand up, a truck just came running at me. "Oh shoot!" I remember my last thoughts being "I haven't even met my first boyfriend yet! Oh well... At least I can finally rest in peace!"

The pain I felt that time didn't even tickle. I've gone through worse. As you all might not know... I am an elite assassin. Even the assassin of the assassins couldn't beat me. Don't get me wrong, I only kill bad guys not just random people. I can't believe a truck killed me! I thought I'd have a heroic death, not die because I tripped over my shoelaces.

I opened my eyes only to find myself laying on the ground only to find a beautiful garden full of amazing plants.

I saw a small figure coming closer to me. I couldn't exactly what the mysterious figure looked like from far away. Then it hit me, it's GOD! At least that's what I think... "You are not mistaken dear, it is I God! And I am terribly sorry for killing you accidentally. In return I will give a second life. I can grant you any wish and cheats you want!" God said to me. Easy! There was always one thing that I wanted but couldn't have before I died and that was... "If it's possible I'd like to live with a loving family, please!" I answered. He was flabbergasted by my answer and asked "A-Are you sure that's all?" "Yes" "Very well then"

A few seconds later a light shone on me... It was so bright I thought I was gonna go blind. Before I completely left the place I heard him say " I feel bad for only giving you one thing so I-"

I opened my eyes to see what had happened, only to see a huge female giant holding me smiling. "Congratulations Madame! It's a healthy baby ojou-sama!" She said, only it wasn't English. Wait.... what?.... baby? She then passed me to another huge female giant on the bed. "Welcome to the world! My precious Lotus." She gave me a loving smile that could melt hearts. She was beautiful!

She sang me a lullaby with her sweet voice, I quickly fell asleep! I guess I never really got a good sleep since I started my job as an assassin. My peaceful sleep was soon interrupted by a loud bang from the door. I wanted to shout but i heard cries. "You woke her up, dear! Please be quiet." The giant who I think is my new mother said to the man who I think is my new father. I turned around to see what he looked like and I couldn't help but blush while looking at a handsome young man about the same age as mom... err... mother. I guess I'll let it slip since he's good-looking,hehe...

I was only a few months old when I learned how to walk, now I'm learning how to talk. Unlike some people, I am actually very organized. I make checklists for almost everything. So walking is off the checklist! I'm trying to hide the fact that I can walk and almost talk to surprise then on my first birthday. (I forgot to mention that Lotus now has legs cause she was given this necklace that gives them legs.)

Right now I'm almost 6 months old... err... half a year old. I'm in the library right now reading about this world's magic. It was only yesterday when I found a magician said to be a legend trapped in a book in the library. It wasn't easy for me to make me her apprentice. I later found out that I was actually a mermaid! A real mermaid! And that this world has magic after meeting Ms. Illea! It was written in the book that to find out you element(s) you'll need to do a special test to awaken your element, special star shaped marks will appear on your body. The bigger the star is the stronger the element. Usually the test is done when you turn 5 and is taken at the palace, so that means I still have 5 years and a half to relax. At least that's what I thought, but I got my stars when I turned 2. I decided to hide it from my parents using conceal but Ms. Illea made me do all sorts of training before I turned 5 because of that. Like etiquette and sword fight, Academics and lots and lots of thing a child my age shouldn't have to worry about.

*Time Skip~*

  I'm finally 5 years old! And I'll be making lots of friends later at the palace. Where everyone who turned 5 or who are already 5 are heading. Commoners are allowable to take the test. Since everyone has element. My mom came to my room and made me try on 10 different dresses until I finally found one I liked. She wanted me to wear a little makeup but I refused her.

I felt nervous about the test but I knew I was ready! When I stepped outside of the house I saw this really big carriage and it looks very chic but too big. I guess it'll do. The ride was so long! Mother said that it was only about 2 hours but it seemed like days!

What I saw was a huge castle surrounded by millions of beautiful lights. It was breathtaking. There were many children about my age in the palace courtyard. Some wore extravagant clothes while some wore commoners clothing. Many were in awe when I stepped out of the carriage. I saw someone familiar but I don't know why...
