I'm the bad boy's girl

Ch-9

By lunch, the whole school knew about that little incident. The famous bad boy kissing a nerd, it's a hot topic. People stared at me where ever I go. Even in cafeteria while taking my food people are pointing at me and talking in hushed voices. I joined Ash and Nick and as soon as I sat Ashley asked "Is it true?"

"What?" I questioned.

"People are saying that Tyler kissed you and that in-front of whole damn class."

"Yeah." I said like it's no big deal. But she and I both knew that this is a big deal. Just when she's about to ask another question, Pepper came to our table and stood looking at me like I had killed her puppy.

"So, you are the new celebrity now. What did you do to make Tyler kiss you?" she scoffed.

I don't want any attention and now if I answer her I will in her enemy list. So I just said "Nothing."

"Just so, that you can know you can't even try to beat me in anything." 

"She can beat you at everything she does and stay the fuck away from friend or else I will shave your head." Ashley retorted. I was surprised by this. I know that Ashley shouts and gets angry but I never saw her shout at some other person.

"How dare you talk back to me. You do have a death wish Ashley. Stay out of my way and I'll spare you" she warned Ashley.

"What will you do huh? Everyone in this school knew your tricks but no one knows mine so be careful with me."

This made Pepper go red. She came forward as if to slap Ashley and in a split second I held her hand.

"You talked shit to me. I didn't talk back but you try to hurt my friends I will kill you. And this is not a warning this is true and stay out of my way, bitch" I said. Just then Mr. Holland walked into cafeteria and hence she walked away from our table silently and that moment I knew that we were going to be in big trouble for the rest of our high school life.

"I never knew you can swear." Ashley whooped.

"No one ever tried to slap you" I replied. We forgot Nick was there staring at us.

"What?" I asked.

"You know that whole school is staring at us and you shouted at Pepper. You both are awesome." He gave high five.

"Yeah thank you for your help." Ashley mocked him.

"You both were handling it well, why should I interrupt perfectly good show?'

"Your friends are in trouble and you watching a good show."

"Okay chill girl, if did something that you couldn't handle I would've helped you."

"I would have killed her if Mr. Holland didn't walk in. Saved by the teacher" said Ashley and after this they forgot about Tyler kissing me(Which made me relieved) and started planning to make Pepper's life hell. But people have another reason to stare at me now. I have officially made an enemy and that too the school's popular queen bee Pepper.

After school I went home and started to walk towards Tyler gym but then remembered that things might get awkward now and so I turned back and hit him who was standing behind me.

"Leaving without practicing" he asked as if nothing happened.

"No" I said and walked into the gym.

He was perfectly well. He acted like nothing happened but for me every time he touched me I go back to the kiss and it's hard for me to concentrate on what he's talking.

"Concentrate" he chided.

 How can I concentrate when you kissed me. I wanted to say this but held back.
