Ch-11

Next morning when I woke up, Tyler was sleeping with one hand on my waist. Our legs got tangled, if some one saw us now they can't tell which leg is whose. He's sleeping peacefully. I slowly untangled myself from him and went to the bathroom.

By the time I bathed and came out, he was not there. I suppose he went to his room. I got dressed and went down to help Lisa. I didn't see him at breakfast neither. I wondered where he has disappeared to.

As usual I went to school and met my friends and while taking my things from my locker I saw a girl making out with a boy in the corridor. I felt disgusted by the idea and started walking away then I saw the boy's face. It was Tyler.

I was shocked to see him. It's not that I didn't see him before like this. But last night he was with me and we made out but then here he was making out with another girl.

I was pretty upset that I didn't listen a word in my classes and didn't even notice the people around me. I just sat my table during lunch when Ash came and sat.

"Nick, said he has some work so, he won't be joining  us for lunch." I just nodded.

"Stop staring at food and eat it". She said. I simply stared at it.

"What happened? Did something happen? Why are you moody?" she asked.

"Nothing, Ash"

"Seriously Ella, something has happened. Did you see Tyler making out with some chick again?"

I just looked at her in confusion and shock. How did she knew this. I never talked about my feelings about Tyler. "What? How?" I asked.

"I knew about your crush on Tyler, Ella. I just gave you space. Now speak, is that it? "

"I uh.. Um.. Yeah I saw him kissing some girl" I said not looking at her.

"I know it feels bad but you know that, he don't even acknowledge you, why do you even bother." she asked.

"I umm.. he kissed me last night. We slept in the same bed and I actually thought he likes me but guess I was wrong."

"What? He kissed you and you slept together?"

"No, we didn't had sex we just slept."

"Wow, I heard he never lets any girl to sleep in the same bed with him"

"Yeah, he said that."

"Wait a moment. If he lets you sleep in the same bed with him he likes you, but then if he likes you why kiss another girl?"

"I don't know"

"See Ella, I know you like him and you both were friends before but if you ask me opinion about him I would say 'stay away'. He might be nice and all but I don't want my best friend to get hurt. And seriously he's trouble"

"I know" I sighed.

"Ella, I'm there for you. You can talk to me about anything. I share everything with you and I wish that from you. Please don't keep me away. " she said looking pleading.

"I know that I can share anything with you Ash.it's just that"

"You don't trust me enough"

"What? No. It's not that. I trust you but if I tell you I don't think you might think the same way about me you do now. And people who knew everything about me left me. " I said not wanting to cry.

"That's it. We are bunking the classes. Come on we will go to my home. Get up. "

She didn't even let me talk. Finally after arriving at her home in her car.

"Hi girls, Ash I know you said that it's important but can I know the reason for leaving the school." asked Mrs. Wood,  Ash's mom.

"Hey, Mrs.Wood" I greeted her.

"Hi, darling. You look so thin. Eat some food. " she said hugging me.

"Mom, please. Can't we bunk school for once!" she exclaimed.

"Okay okay. Enjoy your time" she said and with that we entered Ash's room.

After drinking water she asked "Now tell me. And I swear, I won't leave and I will not judge."

She looked damn serious, so I started telling her.

"I was very close to my brother, Matt and when I was in 1st grade Tyler came to this town and since we were neighbors we became friends pretty quickly. Matt and Tyler also got along well. We used to fight, go outings and even pulled pranks on our teachers.

We were the trouble makers. My brother had this girl whom he liked so much in our grade. But one day she came and asked Tyler out. We were shocked. Tyler didn't talk to girls much then so,when she came and asked him out he freaked out and also she was the girl Matt liked. But after sometime some how Matt and her got together.

Things were going pretty well until I had an accident while I was driving and hit some girl. This girl happened to be my brother's girl. Matt got very angry he shouted at me for hitting her. It's not that I hit her willingly. I was also hurt very bad. Then was the first time when Matt and Tyler fight for the first time. They had a big fight.

Tyler was angry because Matt didn't care about me. But then after some days that girl was found dead near a bar. She was raped and killed. Because she had the wounds from the accident she couldn't defend her well.

Matt didn't talk to me for days but Tyler was there for me. He constantly reminded me that I was not responsible for her death but my brother thought otherwise. Then Tyler's cousins came for holidays. He was busy with them for some days.

Matt isn't talking to me and Tyler was with his cousins. I even tried meeting him but one of his cousins told me to leave him alone for some days as I only cause pain to him. "

"Wait, why do you cause him pain? " she interrupted.

"Well, for starters he always got into fights because of me. People used to pick on me a lot then he always fights them to save me. He even got shouted on our head because he couldn't stop all this bullying. Then he got into fight with Matt and it was pretty bad. He even got admitted into hospital after that fight. That's the gist."

"Okay carry on. "she said.

"Yeah, so after that I left him alone. Then after a month once say Matt pushed me from the bike. My dad showed in him for that. Then Matt said I only cause people pain. I kill people. I can't let people stay happy. I was a burden for him to bear.  That he can't even beat my presence so he's leaving home. That day he left and never returned.

After that day, dad got busy with his work. Mom buried herself in extra work to forget about him. But I was alone. No ones there for me to talk about how I felt. Then after some months I met you guys. And I was afraid if  I grew closer to you guys you will also leave me. And if you knew my past you will also think that I only cause pain. So, I didn't tell you this." by the time I completed I was drenched in my own tears.

She came and hugged me. "You never at fault in this. Did you ask Tyler to fight in stead of you? No. Did you kill the girl? No. They were just foolish people who blame on others. You don't cause pain to people. I was alone when I came to this town. No one even noticed you were the one smiled at me this whole school. You caused me joy Ella not pain. I love you so much. Don't even think that you cause pain. " she says that bear hugging me.

She didn't ask me anymore questions and I was thankful for that. I slept that night at her home. And that way the day I loved her the most.
