Forgive me for taking so long for a new chapter. Enjoy!
Melisa part :)
“Sorry to interrupt but holly macaroni what was that about!” I jumped when I heard a squeaky familiar voice.
Uh oh. Looking around nervously till I saw my dropped Iphone which lucky was unscratched on the ground. However when I dropped it, it had somehow made its way to dialing Krisa and there she was her big blue eyes starring up from the phone demanding an explanation.
Out of sheer panic I freaked and canceled the call. I looked at Kile with frantic look. “I hung up.”
I paused astonished. “I have never hung up on Krisa! What do I do!” He shrugged. “Well!” I pleaded.
“She is your best friend, you could tell her” he suggested.
“Ya sure tell her I’m under some cupid curse to help weird magic people get normal people together and follow their orders to the line or else who knows what happens to me. Not only that we’ve got your freaky father out to get us and what can we do about him? Nothing because he just happens to be the head police of this town” I huffed. I knew I wasn’t taking his advice to any value even though id asked for it.
“Hey slow down, I know your stressed but Krisa‘s your best friend I’m sure she’ll understand plus it will probably make u feel better telling her.” He was right this whole thing was like carrying around one huge rock on your back and not being able to get it off or get help with carrying it. I reconsidered the idea of telling her and decided I’d give it a try.
“Ok” I said with a deep breath . I watched Kile nod and smile giving me a little extra strength. I opened my phone texted Krisa .
Hey I’m so sorry for hanging up on u. I will tell u everything tonight, my house 8:30pm. Love Melisa
No problem, ur stressed anyone can tell. I’m here for you girl, I’ll be there. See ya soon :)
Breathing out deeply. I just hoped when I told her she’d believe me. It was almost as absurd as telling her I’d become super women and was off to battle my evil arch enemy although it didn’t seem far form it.“Now what?” I asked raising my head to look at him
“Now.. we go clear our minds” he said holding out his firm comforting hand for me to take. I took it and walked away. Walked away from Kile's father, walked away from our problems and just pretended everything was normal though our lives were probably far from being able to turn back to normal.
..................................
My feelings were burning with energy like the recently dawned star that had appeared through the melting colors of the descending sun just with the passing heat Kile was giving off next to me. My heart was thundering in response as we walked down the purple paved path (i know purple right? wonder what they were thinking?) After the horrible event we had faced at school had left us with the possibility we might not be safe any where and thus left with the solution we should stick together , like Lego. So Kile was going to stay at my uneventful less of a cahos home until we solved the problems we had some how obtained over the last week. Which too me is way too extremely fast considering how boring and small our town is.
The nightlights turned on like magic giving our evening an almost less scary atmosphere as our afternoon had been. The street was almost empty except for the few last minute shoppers still trying to scavenge up the rest of their shopping list before closing time. The windows glossy glare showed the reflexions me a medium height strawberry blonde wearing a knee length fashionable pink sun dress along with my not so matching candy cane stockings. Walking at the same pace beside me in the window was the tall green eyed boy, Kile in his usual leather jacket and old fashioned button up white paint splattered shirt that had a few buttons at the top undone briefly giving any passing individual the almighty pleasure of seeing the toned tanned muscles beneath.
