I hate that stupid feeling... You know, the one that comes back just to break everything down. It usually starts in your stomach, causing a little anxiousness; then it goes to your head making all those thoughts and memories that were cautiously hidden in the deepest part of our brain reappear all over again, and finally it goes straight to stab your heart, that's when all the suppressed emotions bloom and you realize you haven't gotten over that person. No matter what they did you'll always have a part of them in your memories and in your heart which is a reminder that you were happy with them at some point in your life.
I think remembering is good because when we break it means not only that we're letting somethings go, but also, that we are ready to create new memories that will help ourselves and our souls healing.
