Chapter 1
"What a day, " Jazmin sighed exasperatedly, as she threw herself on her worn black leather couch and kicked off her scuffed up waitress shoes.
"Pervy bastard," she muttered angrily, as she started remembering the day she had and slowly began to peel off her waitress uniform.
She was just about to pull it past her thighs when the phone rang, a shrill sound that disturbed the calm quiet that had settled throughout her small home.
"Hello?" she asked wearily, her australian accent peeking through as she balanced on one foot, still in her bra and panties.
"Oh honey, I just wanted to see how my little rugrat was doing... " her mother gushed, as Jazmin rolled her eyes.
"Hello mom I'm fine," she muttered tiredly, as she padded across the wooden floor to the master bedroom, grabbing an old t-shirt and a pair of sweats to use as pajamas.
The room was freezing, running over to the large window above her bed she closed it, not she even remembering opening it in the first place.
"Okay honey you sound tired I guess I'll let you rest," she sighed, as Jazmin heard her shuffling around on the other side of the phone.
"Yes mom I was about to do that before you called, " she said putting the phone on speaker, then setting it on her black and red comforter as she pulled on the old t-shirt. It was so old she couldn't even remember where she had got it from.
"Okay honey I'll let you go so you can be ready for tomorrow, " she said and Jazmin froze.
"Wait, what's tomorrow?" she asked and thought about it. She had planned to just sleep all day tomorrow.
"You don't remember? We planned to go shopping tomorrow," her mother reminded her and Jazmin could practically sense the frown on her face.
"Oh yeah... I'll be there mom, " she said feeling bad. Turning off the lights in the rest of the house, she ran back to her room not wanting to feel the cold wooden floor against her feet.
"Have a goodnight baby love you," her mother gushed, obviously feeling better then hung up.
Jazmin put the phone down and went to the attached bathroom to wash and brush her teeth. Once she was done, she checked the front door to make sure it was locked and that the alarm was on. They weren't, so she locked the door, turned on the alarm then walked back to her bedroom and crawled in bed, throwing her curly hair up in a bun. Her head hit the pillow and she was out like a light.

Later, she awoke to the feeling of someone climbing on top of her. Her eyes flew open and what she saw disturbed her so much, she wished she hadn't opened them. It had long black hair, and it was so close she could almost feel the tips of it's greasy strands brushing against her cheeks. It's face was a ghostly white, with no eyelids and a smile from cheek to cheek, that almost looked like it was carved. The eyes were what disturbed her the most, so black she felt as if they saw straight through her soul.
Before she could even let out a scream, he pressed something cold and sharp against her neck, his voice deep and raspy as he said, "Go to sleep."
And that's when she realized 'it' was a 'he' then screamed.
