Chapter 2

He put his hand over her mouth so quick she didn't even realize it was happening until she felt it. Staring up at him with wide eyes she tried to plan out an escape. Calming down, she realized that if she could just just distract him, she could probably get away.

"Can you hear me?" she asked, as it was muffled by his hand. Leaning closer, he leaned in and furrowed his brows, obviously confused.

So she said it again, but a little lower.

He brought his head a little closer.

Biting his hand, she headbutted him and he flew off the bed holding his head.

"What the fuck?" he cursed, holding his forehead as he backed up against the wall.

Jazmin jumped out of the bed, her body going into defense mode.

Standing in front of him, she sneered "Who the hell are you?"

Seemingly shocked by her accent, he didn't say anything and lunged at her, taking her to the ground. He held her there pinning her wrists to the floor with his hands, knife at her throat.

"Jeff the Killer, " he said smirking, acting like he had won.

Not even close.

Jazmin swung her leg up, her knee connecting with his privates. He groaned and covered them, then fell to the the side, his face scrunching up.

Jumping up, she put her fists up and held her ground. Getting up, he aimed his knife at her and circled, a grin spread across his face as she did the same. Swinging the knife at her arm, she kicked it across the room.

Their eyes connected, and she swung a punch towards his side. Groaning, he kicked her leg, the pain sending her to the floor. Coincidentally right by where she had kicked his knife, grabbing it, she reached up and stabbed his thigh.

He grunted, then took it back and slashed her collarbone, and she let out a pained cry. Breathing hard, she reached up and dug her fingers into his wound, his knees buckling as he fell to the ground.

Using that to her advantage, she stood up and threw a quick punch to his nose, the familiar meaty crunch resounding around the room. Covering his nose, she snatched the knife from him and aimed for his neck. He moved, so it connected with his shoulder.

Quickly pulling it out he slashed her torso and shoved her, using a sheer amount of force that sent her flying back against the wall.

Jazmin looked up as the room spun around her, a blurred figure coming towards her, even half conscious she knew that wasn't any good.

Hands trembling, she grabbed the big hideous vase her mom got her last Christmas and used the last of her energy to throw it at him, it's not like she was gonna miss it.

It hit him right in the stomach and he hit the ground, holding his head. Before she could even bask in her victory, he got up and with almost superhuman speed, ran to the window and climbed out.

Limping over to the window, she watched as he blurred then disappeared down the street.

Way too tired to even try to go after him, she limped her way to the phone and dialed the police, her voice shaky as she yelled, "Fuck! "
