《Shirin's pov 》

It has been 1 month and I've gotten use to living with a loving family. I actually found out alot about myself,I was insanely stronger and faster than most people in the village. I wonder if there are more people like me?.....
Actually where is Sin?, don't tell me he sneaked on Badr's boat. I sighed,"That idiot",I mumbled,"At least he's not alone"...

Esla,"Shirin,do you want to help me cook dinner?"

"Okay",I answered.

《Later in the evening》

When Sin and Badr finally got home,Esla and I prepared dinner on the small table. As Badr and Esla were having a conversation,I noticed Sin looked mad (?).

'Did something happen between sinbad and his father?',I thought to my self.

Esla noticed Sinbad ' s unhappy expression,so she asked,"Is something wrong Sinbad?"

Sinbad suddenly exclaimed,"nothing mama!".Yep something happened between him and his father.

"Ha hah hah, are you still mad Sin?",Badr chuckled

"No I'm not mad!I'm done",finishing his dinner.

"Actually Sin,since there's not that much water in the jugg,could you
go to the well to fill the jugg. It's pretty simple,I'm sure a kid like you could do it",said Badr.

Sinbad angrily grab the jugg and exclaimed,"I'm not a kid!Unlike you papa,I'M A PROPER MAN!Collecting water from the well is a piece of cake!

With that said,he stomped outside to go to the well. I'm pretty sure he can't hold a gallon of water so might as well go and help him. I quickly excused myself and ran to find Sinbad. When I caught up to him,I asked him what was all the commotion about,as he explained to me about the situation,he suddenly stopped and asked,"Um Rin what is that?",he pointed to a figure that was near the well. It was a man and it seems that he is unconscious and hurt.....

"Sinbad go back to the house and tell your papa,I'll stay here",I hesitantly said.

"Are you sure?",Sinbad asked in a worried tone.

"I'll be fine,just go Sin". Sinbad nodded and ran back to the house.
I looked at the man and thought,"There's something off about him"....

《Sinbad ' s pov》

I ran to my house as fast as possible,I gotta tell papa this.

I stood at the doorway and panted,"Papa"

The next morning

Everyone stared at the strange man,contemplating whether we should let him stay or not.

Esla disagrees and said,"I think he shouldn't stay here,there's something about him"...

"I agree,there is something off about him",I bluntly answered.

"We shouldn't be talking about this in front of Sinbad,besides we took Shirin in",answered Badr.

" That was because she was a child-

"Mama!We got to change the bandages",Sin exclaimed.

Suddenly the blonde haired man slowly sat up and looked around his surroundings
"Mister you're finally awake!"

"Huh",he looked confused. Then Badr explains 'Darius's' situation. When he looked down on us and raised his hands,which Esla got quickly nervous,I became cautious about what he will do....

He patted us on the head,

"Huh",I thought,confused.

"Thank you little boy, girl.

Few days later

After that fiasco,Darius had to live with us for the time being. He would tell us stories about the world and Sin quickly became curious and I too wanted to hear more stories,but that doesn't mean I trust him,I have a feeling that he's a bad guy.

Next day

I woke up early in the morning to help Esla make breakfast. As I was cleaning a plate,Esla brought soup to Darius.

"You're leaving already,but your wounds haven't healed"

I continued cleaning not paying attention to the conversation. Then I heard screaming. I quickly turned around and Esla was on the ground with Sinbad and there was Darius with a dagger and blood dripping from his body to the ground.

I knew it there was something wrong about him

I should've acted earlier,now Sinbad is gonna be hurt!

Everyone in the town was watching as Darius held a sword near Sinbad ' s throat. I clenched my fist,my gleaming red eyes narrowed ,is any body gonna help him or they're gonna stand there.

Esla desperately begged someone, anyone to save her child

"Please, someone save my child ",she begged on the ground. I stood beside her,fist clenched, I could feel the ground cracking underneath me.

"No way this is your problem!"

"You brought this man to your home"

I growled silently,I wish I could do something to save Sinbad,but in this situation I'm useless.

Damn why I am so useless!

I watched pathetically as Darius was about to strike Sinbad with his dagger.

I was about to run up to Darius,when Badr bowed down and begged Darius to surrender and not hurt Sinbad.

Darius angrily replied that he's not going to surrender and that he's loyal to the Reim Empire. Then when he was about to strike sinbad with the sword again. In a flash Badr strikes Darius with his sword. I caught Sinbad before he could fall on the ground. I felt someone hug me,it was Sinbad.

I watched as Badr gave an emotional speech about war,later on he got drafted to a dungeon even though he lost his leg in the previous war.
"Papa!"
"Darling"
"Badr"....

Badr turned around and exclaimed, "Sinbad!Fight as a man to protect those precious to you and protect your mother and Shirin. Please Shirin promise me that you will protect Sin!
《Shirin's pov 》

I promise Badr, I promise I'll protect Sinbad, my savior!

14 years later

I gripped on a huge wooden pole as the rain poured hard on me. I tried to stand up but the stormy weather and the rocking ship is not helping. The other people on ship started panicking

"At this rate we're not going to make it to land!",a man cried out

"This ship is going to sink!",cried out a woman

Sinbad who was standing on the railing shouted,"Don't fear the waves,read the flow of the waves,accept them and then overcome them!",he said with a grin on his face.

I swear to god if he falls off of that railing,idiot.
