"It was all a huge
misunderstanding, huh?"
Jimin tried to laugh it off, but Taehyung just stood there, unamused.
"Yea well, what
happened, happened."
"R-right."
After noticing the uncomfortable shift in Jimin's posture, Taehyung took a deep breath. It wasn't right to be like this, especially after finding out the truth. He should be happy.
"What did it say?"
"What?"
"The letter,
what did you write?"
"Oh, I.. just wanted you
to come see me one last time."
"Is that it?"
"No, I uh, I also wanted
to give you something."
Jimin slid one of the matching rings off of his finger and slid it right on Taehyung's.
"Its a promise ring."
"...."
"I don't know how they work, but the lady at the store told me it was a good present."
"...."
"I had everything I wanted
to say planned out too."
He tearfully smiled at Taehyung who kept his eyes on the metal around his finger.
"Can I hear it?"
