The Warriors were having a small party at the beach, an all day event that ended with the whole team sitting around the bonfire. Steph curled up against Klay as they watched the sunset with their teammates.

"Are you alright, babe?" Steph turned his head at the sound of Klay's voice.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?"

"Because you're shaking..." Skepticism etched itself onto Klay's face as he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm fine, just cold. I didn't realize we'd be out here for so long. I didn't bring my jacket out of the car and we parked like a mile away so I didn't want to go get it." Klay laughed and rolled his eyes at the smaller man.

"I can literally see the car from here... Seriously? You're that lazy?"

"Yes, I am. It's literally one of the first things I told you about when we started dating... If it was 40 degrees out and my jacket was 10 feet away, but I was comfortable, I'd let myself freeze."

"How can one person be so lazy?... You're actually going to freeze or get sick. Here, take this." Klay handed his hoodie over to Steph.

"Then you're going to get cold. I'm fine, Klay." Steph tried to hand it back but Klay gave him a playful glare so he kept it.

"I'm not cold, I don't need it. Just put it on so you won't get sick." Steph considered throwing it back at Klay, but sighed and pulled it over his head. As soon as it was on, warmth enveloped his body. Since Klay was bigger than him, his hoodie reached Steph's thighs.

"See? Isn't this better than freezing?" Steph just gave his boyfriend a light slap on the arm and curled back up against him. Klay smiled and wrapped his arm around Steph, pulling him closer and kissing the top of his head.

"Thank you. I love you."

"Love you too, baby."
