An hour later they had eaten their eggs and sent Richie off to bed. Rob was taking a shower and Laura was nervously changing into her new outfit.
She walked out into the living room to make sure all the doors and windows were locked. A few moments later, Rob came out of the shower, steamy and hot, which seduced Laura.
"Honey how are we going to do this?"Laura asked
"What do you mean how?"
"Well we don't share a bed which one do we use?"
"Well that's easy. First you just take the nightstand," Rob went over to it, "and you get it out of the way like this." He started to pull the nightstand around the room until it was in the corner. "And then we just push our two beds together." And he did just that.
"Thanks, darling. Are you ready?"
"Yeah hold on I need to put one on."
Rob went to the nightstand and opened the drawers quickly. He shifted around the belongings inside when Laura noticed he looked panicked.
"What's the matter darling?" Laura asked.
"Where are they? Where did I leave them last?"
"Well they should be there?"
"Well they aren't."
"Well where could they be?"
"Gah I don't know."
Silence arose. Momentarily Rob remembered where he put them. He facepalmed, then walked out of the room.
When he returned, Laura said "You left them in the silverware drawer didn't you?"
"Oh hush," Rob said as he got one out.
"Why were they even in there?"
"I don't remember why, maybe last time we left them there because, well, you know..." He trailed off, blushing a little bit.
Laura smiled and Rob finally noticed what she was wearing. He barely took any thought of it before, but now, having it right in front of him, he was almost speechless. Could he really do this? He did it all those years ago, but could he do it again?
Of course he could. He shook off the thought as he stared at her.
"Do you like it?" Asked Laura with a nervous voice.
"Of course I do," was all Rob could manage to get out as he placed his hands on her hips and pressed their foreheads together.
"Are we really going to do this?" Laura let out a small giggle.
"We can't back down now, we've planned for this for what seems like decades, Laura."
Laura smiled and grabbed Robs collar. "If you say so..."
