Chan had gotten into town quicker than he would of liked, having wanted to take in the scenery, breathe in fresh air and listen to sounds of the wild life in wood land area around him but his feet had walked faster than his mind could take in. Which was how ended up in the middle of the main street before he could comprehend, suddenly surrounded by a lot of people as theywent about their daily. He looked around astounded before shrugging his shoulders as he continued down the path, scanning the various food stalls as his stomach began to growl.
He smiled wide as he spotted the lady that had given him the cook book he had been using for his cooking, watching as she grinned as she served each customer before he rushed over to her, looking at the number of different types of fish cakes she had made. His stomach was now grumbling much more and he couldn't take his eyes off of the food.
"Hey young man, how are you?" The older woman laughed as Chan sniffed in the aroma of the fresh smell emitting from the food, groaning at how good it smelt.
Chan grinned, nodding, his mood had improved dramatically over the past month and it could be shown on his face, as his eyes seemed to smile as well instead of looking dull and lifeless. "I'm well, the person I talked about before seems to like your recipes."
"That's good to hear, I hope it made him feel better."
"Yes, it did, thank you."
"Would you like to try one?" The woman offered, smiling as she motioned towards the fish cakes that Chan had been eyeing since he saw them.
"Hm... Sure!" Chan giggled, grabbing one before bringing it to his mouth and biting it, the taste of the fish cake bursting into his mouth. He danced happily while munching on it. "It's so go-"
Chan was interrupted, by a person bumping into him and he choked on the food in his mouth, coughing wildly. The person turned quickly as soon as he bumped into Chan and begun patting him on the back roughly. Chan eyebrows furrowed as his face turned to see a familiar person and he opened his mouth to let out a surprised yelp but was shut off by the person slapping their hand on his lips.
"Shh.." The person hissed, their eyes scanning the area behind Chan. "How dumb can you get?"
Chan eyed him suspiciously before removing the hand from his mouth before whispering harshly at the male. "Woojin?? What the hell?"
-
Woojin had been roaming the marketplace carefully, making sure to keep his head down as he looked over the various stalls for anything he might need. He stopped at a few stalls of various drawing equipment that he thought Minho would like and bought a number of things including a small booklet with blank pages, stuffing it inside his satchel.
He continued down the street, his eyes scanning his surrounding as he made sure it was safe for him to still be out in the open. Not wanting to be caught by the few palace scouts he knew were loitering around the place. He made sure to not look anyone in the eye, keeping his face hidden and making sure to not draw attention to himself.
"Hm... Sure!"
Woojin tensed as he heard a familiar voice followed by a loud giggle and his head snapped up to see Chan just in front of him picking up what looked to be a fish cake. Woojin groaned, seeing that Chan wasn't making any effort to keep himself hidden but showcasing himself out in the open for anyone to see. What an idiot!
Woojin rushed forward and purposefully slammed his shoulder into Chan, making the younger male who had just shoved food in his mouth begin to choke on it. Woojin swiftly faced the coughing Chan and patted him on the back, making sure to conceal them by hiding Chan with his body.
