Beverly. She would always talk about Beverly the most. She was in love. She never got to fulfill that love. She never got to show she loved this person. She would call me to come to the hospital telling me she fucked up and she should have told Beverly she loved her way before. She said that if she would have followed Beverly sooner, gotten to know her sooner, maybe she would have been able to make Beverly hers. But she accepted the fact that you were happy. She wanted you to be happy more than anything. She said that was her number one goal in life. To make you happy. She said it made her smile when you called her Chee.

Lidia. She always told me Lidia was like her mom. Saleema said Lidia was always the person that would be there for her when nobody wanted to be there for her. She said that if somebody would cry hard when she died, it would be Lidia. She said that Lidia is the only one that stayed with her at the hospital majority of the time. She said whenever she needed her and she had something to do, she would shift her plans just for Saleema. Lidia, I know I don't know you, but my advice is to take it one day at a time.

Eddie. When she would talk about Eddie, it would make me smile. She said that Eddie was her rock. Eddie was her music buddy. She said that Eddie was her everything. She and him may have gotten into a lot of right, but she wanted to let him know that she always cared for him. It may not have looked like it, but I saw Saleema before she died. Eddie, if your reading this, she told me that she really did care for you.

Richie. She would always tell me that you were the special one. There was no label to you guy's friendship. And she meant that as a good thing. She said that you guys would talk about the most random stuff ever. That's what she loved about you. She said that you guys had the best relationship. By far. She didn't have a favorite if that's what your thinking, she just meant you were the most fun to hang out with. She said you were the one who lifted her spirits up. Everybody did, but you did the most.

Karen. She called you Karen. She said she didn't know if that was your real name, but she still called you Karen. She said that even though you guys barely ever talked, everytime you guys would talk, she would smile with every text you sent her. Sad or good. Because she was talking to you. She said that if she could choose between pizza or you, she would choose you. That's how you know you guys were like best buds. She said that even though you guys had a huge age difference, (like four years) she still loved you like a bestie.
