Giving Up

A week later.....

Austin's P.O.V

Tonight was the night that I was going to tell Mario that im giving up. I don't know if he's going to take it too good and I might have to get jumped out of this thing. I was sitting in the chairs inside Mario's office and waited for him.

I started feeling a little nervous and farted.

Blue started to sniff and scrunched up his face.

"Bruh who the fuck farted?"

"Whoever smelt it dealt it." Nard mumbled and Blue turned to him getting mad.

"Nard what mama told you about farting!" Blue said.

"You the one that fuckin' farted!"

"Nah that was yo' stankin' ass."

"Yo shit needa be washed the fuck up." Nard said covering his nose and shaking his head.

"It not that serious, its not that serious to fuckin' lie about."

"Shut yo' bitch ass up."

"Punk ass nigga." Blue said and I was cracking up the whole time. These boys will go from 0-100 real quick.

I stopped laughing just in time for Mario to come in. Thankfully the smell faded away. He walked over to his desk and sat down with of his two men behind him.

"Now ima just be straight forward with you Austin, im expecting my money. Do you have it?" After he said that the man on his left aimed his gun at me and I had to keep from kissing my teeth.

"Yeah I got it right here." I said taking off my backpack and pulled out the 5 stacks.

His eyes lit up more and more with each stack I pulled out and he smiled.

"Now that's what im talkin' about." he said laughing and the guy put his gun away. Mario ran his fingers through each stack and nodded.

"And I got one more thing." I said standing up nervously and he looked up.

"I want out. This life ain't for me."

"You want out?" he repeated raising an eyebrow and I nodded.

"Nigga just what in the hell you doing?" Blue muttered next next to me and I shook him off.

"I don't want to sell drugs anymore. And I don't want my mom to find out cause I know for a fact this will tear her apart. I also promised my brother that ima stop doing this. My grades are slippin,' I risk losing my life every night and I don't want that type of worry anymore. I just want to live free." I said and Mario nodded his head.

"Alright. It seems like you got a plan for yourself and if you feel like you don't belong here then leave. Cause I only want workers that's putting in 100% effort. But make sure when you leave here today, this place, anything to do with this place, and my name is erased from your memory."

"Mario I want to leave to." Blue and Nard said at the same time standing up.

He nodded his head.

"Just give me my money and you free to go, what I just said to Austin goes to both of you." they paid their money and we all left in one piece.

"You know, this feels good." I said nodding my head as Blue drove and Nard was in the back scrolling through his phone.

"What?" they asked at the same time.

"Not thinking in the back of my mind how  ima pay that nigga." I said and they nodded.

"That's true."
