Chapter 1 | Arriving at College

Ro's POV

Me, Lisa, and Tionne finally arrived at Spelman. As I got out the car, I breathed in the smell of fresh college air. Ahh, learning. Call me a nerd but I like to learn!

"Can you believe it you guys?!" Lisa yelled, dancing around. "We're finally college girls!"

"Yeah, it does feel pretty good." Tionne grinned.

"It's gonna feel even better when we hit them parties!" Lisa laughed.

I laughed with her.

"Well, let's go inside." I smiled, as all of us linked arms and went inside the college building.

When we got inside, got our information and everything and went inside our dorms.

"Bye Lisa, bye T! I'll catch ya'll on the flip side." I held up the peace sign.

"Ro, nobody says that anymore." Lisa said.

"Whatever, just bye!" I laughed.

Lisa's POV

As soon as me and Tionne got into our dorms, we plopped on our beds immediately.

"College girls... This outta be fun." Tionne said.

"It better be!" I laughed. "Hey, didn't that flyer downstairs say something about a kickoff party tonight?"

T shrugged. "I think.. Imma ask Ro." She picked up her walkie-talkie and called Ro. "Ocelean, do you read?"

Ro picked up. "Yes Tenese, I read. What is it?"

"Lisa asked if there's gonna be a party tonight."

"Hmm, yes. My roomate just told me about it."

"Okay. What's your roomate's name?"

"Aaliyah Haughton. She's super sweet."

"Oh, hi Aaliyah. Lisa, say hi!"

"Hiiiii!" I said.

"Hey you guys." Aaliyah said.

"Well, we'll see you tonight Ro. Bye! And it was nice meeting you Aaliyah!"

"Bye, and it was nice meeting you too!"

Tionne turned off her walkie-talkie.

"Lisa, it's time we had a talk." Tionne put her hand on my shoulder.

"T, I already know about se-"

"No, no! Dirty person! I'm talking about the talk about college parties."

"Oh.." I blushed in embarrassment.

"Alright, you gotta be cautious at college parties. I mean very cautious. Remember when we were watching Moesha at your mom's house and Moesha got drugged at her cousin's college party?"

I nodded my head. "Yeah."

"But if it wasn't for Aaron stepping in at the right time, something real bad would've happened. Now, in order for that to not happen to you, you gotta be real careful."

"Okay then mom." I laughed.

She laughed too. "Whatever alien."

"Well, let's go get ready for the party."
