Chapter 3 | Lisa No (Part 2: Last Part)

Recap: Lisa and Tionne went to Spelman's College Kickoff party, Lisa got drunk and started dancing, T called Ro to help her, Lisa fainted, and everyone's at the hospital to see how Lisa's doing. And now, continued...

No POV

Right now, Tionne, Ro, Dalvin, Chris, and August are all laying at Lisa's bedside, as she was sleeping soundly.

"Poor thing, I hate to see her like this." Tionne rubbed her hair.

August was holding Lisa's hand, Ro was crying, and Chris was comforting her, and Dalvin just looked down at the floor.

Then Lisa coughed, grasping everyone's attention and fluttered her eyes open.

"Lisa! You're okay!" August smiled.

"What happened?" Lisa asked. "And why does my head hurt?"

"Because, we went to a party and you got too much to drink and hit your head on a table." Tionne said.

"Okay... Now who are you people?" Lisa asked.

"SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER US!" Ro bawled.

"Li, we're your bestfriends. Come on, you remember us. I'm Chris, that's Dalvin, Ro, Tionne, and your boyfriend August. Remember?" Chris said, while rubbing Ro's back.

"No, I don't remember you guys." Lisa shook her head slowly.

"My baby doesn't remember me.." August said sadly.

Then the doctor walked in.

"Doc, she just woke up and now she doesn't remember anything. What's wrong?" Tionne sighed.

"Well, she may have a slight case of amnesia."

"Amnesia?!"

"Yes. Don't worry, it'll only last for a minor two weeks. Three weeks tops." The doctor wrote on her clipboard. "She's gonna have to stay here for the time, but you're welcome to visit her."

"Okay, thank you doctor."

The doctor walked out of the room.

"So what do we do now?" Dalvin asked.

"We're gonna have to re-teach her everything." Tionne said. "We can take turns each day to help. Then on weekends, we'll all come and tell her stuff." Tionne glanced at Lisa who was trying to take out her IV. "No Lisa! Don't play with that!" Tionne smacked her hand.

"Ow!" Lisa winced. "Why not? I don't like it."

"Because, it's important. You're supposed to keep it in your wrist." Tionne said.

"You guys are mean, how come you're my friends?" Lisa said grumpily.

"Because you love us and we love you." Tionne reassured.

"Yeah, yeah." Lisa rolled her eyes.

"Might not have a memory, but it's still the same ol' Lisa." Chris laughed.

Ever since that day, T, Ro, Dal, Chris, and Aug went to visit Lisa on their off time from college. And each day, they taught her more and more stuff to help regain her memory.

"And that's how I became your boyfriend." August finished, smiling. It was Friday, meaning it was August's day to visit Lisa at the hospital and tell her some new stuff.

"But why did you push me off the swing?" Lisa asked. She was referring to what August told her about the day they first met. In Kindergarten.

"I didn't mean to. I was trying to help you swing because you couldn't do it, and I accidentally pushed you. Then you started crying and got a scrape on your knee, and I kissed it for you." August said.

"Oh, that's so cute." Lisa giggled.

"I know." August laughed, looking at his watch. "Well, I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow." August kissed Lisa's forehead.

"Bye!" Lisa waved.

The next day..

"Hi Lisa!" Everyone greeted, coming into her room.

"Hey guys." Lisa was watching tv.

"How do you feel Li?" Ro asked.

"I feel fine, I think I remember everything now."

"Really?"

"Really. My name is Lisa Lopes, i'm 17 years old, and you guys are all my knuckle-head friends." Lisa smiled, as everyone attacked her with kisses.

"Lisa's back, finally."
