I turned the door knob as the door of the cafe slowly opened, instantly filling my nostrils with a pungent smell of coffee and pastries.

"Sorry we're not opened ye-, " Meiqi politely spoke before realising that it was actually her colleague.

"Ahh, Xuanyi! I thought you were a customer! Anyway, let me introduce you to our new barista."

I observed the guy standing beside Meiqi. He was around my age which made me wonder if he was still attending school.

He wore a matte black mask that covered his mouth and part of his nose.

Beneath that mask was a long, delicate nose with a round tip that match his shyness that he was displaying.

His cheeks were bulging like two fat spheres that made me want to squish them so badly.

And his eyes...they were like a pair of diamonds which shone so bright, making everyone who came across them cherish them preciously.

Accompanied with his milky white skin with a slight tint of pink on both of his cheeks, probably caused by me staring at him for quite a long time, he was definitely a fine-looking boy for his age.

"Xuanyi, stop staring! You're making him blush!" Meiqi chuckled upon seeing it.

That was when i snapped out from my thoughts and reached my hand out,"Hi cutie! im Wu Xuanyi, the cashier here."

He was obviously flustered by my honest comment and awkwardly reach out to give my hand a little shake.

"H-hi im li quanzhe."
