"You've been so quiet these days Y/N. What's wrong? What's gotten into you?" Erika asks. It was the first time in a week that you had went out with her. You didn't feel like talking much so you pretended as if you couldn't hear her.

"Hey! Earth to Y/N?? Are you even listening to me??" Erika asks , you could detect a hint of sadness and instantly you felt horrible, turning toward her, you took her hands in yours and look at her,

"Its just ... That night I was so scared. Everything happened in a blink of an eye. It really woke me up abit." You say and she looks at you sympathetically, her arm automatically draping over you shoulder like it always would, pulling you closer,

"I know. I'm sorry you had to witness that but in my opinion, I don't see that as bad." She says plainly and I stare at her in shock. How could she say such a thing.

"The guy tried to rape you and whoever it was saved you... Maybe it was a guardian angel." She makes silly noises and you giggle. You knew she was only doing it to make you feel better.

"But... That person killed someone." You say and Erika shrugs this time, "A person deserves to die even he tried to bring suffering onto anyone.",

You nod your head slowly, trying to convince yourself that his actions were justified.

" I really wonder who saved you though, it would be so interesting to know. He hit that guy right in the head.... Bulls eye." She makes a flinging action and I giggle at her stupidity.

"Ahh!! There's my girl!" She taps me proudly as if she had just thought her seven year old daughter how to ride a bike without training wheels.

"Hey!!"

Both your heads shoot up as they see a girl approaching them, she was your typical barbie. Blonde hair, big eyes and lots of make up,

"You! Its because of you! My hyung hik is dead!!" The barbie approaches and before you could even open your mouth to speak, she slaps you so hard across the face that your head flies to the side. You felt tears prick your eyes and you stood there speechless, clutching onto your cheek...

Helpless...

Was all you thought of yourself.

"How dare you!!!" Erika screams and was about to hurl herself at the barbie but was stopped by a few people holding her back and others trying get in between.

While you just stare at the floor, still clutching you cheek. Why was your life only going down hill? Ever since your stupid vacation started. If you could take it all back and replay life again... You would because right now... You were in the middle of everything yet felt like you were so 'all over the place' as well.

You quickly made your way out of the store even though people called your name. You ignored them and just walked home... Without even telling Erika.

You locked all the doors and switched all the lights off and sat down on the couch. You were still in your towel , you were too lazy and too out of it to change or even bother with eating anything. You felt absolutely stressed out and lonely and you just wished your parents were here,

As if god were on your side, your phone rang and it was your mother, shakily you answered trying not to let her notice that you're crying right now.

However, you couldn't escape your mother, she knew straight away that you were crying. She was upset too but what made you even more upset was that mum and dad had just informed you that they'd be staying in Rio for at least three more weeks before they could return again and you sighed out.

It was almost near to their return and now bad luck had to strike and take them away again. You couldn't argue... You just had to suck it up. They were extremely sorry and you kept reassuring yourself that you were OK.

You said your goodbyes and you sigh.

Great... Just perfect...

You switch on the TV and just try to distract yourself by watching programs when suddenly all channels were taken over by SNS news.

"Breaking news, miss Park Jo young was found dead at her home today at around 16:04. Reporters on scene describe it as one of the most gruesome murders yet. Due to lack of information. We are unaware of any specific details of the crime scene or reason for murder. The nation department urges every citizen to stay safe."

You turn off the TV after the picture of the women appeared on screen and you nearly screamed when you recognized her photo.

It was the women that slapped you today and you had mixed emotions. You didn't know whether to feel some sort of happiness or guilt. Right at that moment, your phone buzzes and you open the message,
