Lance was woken up by a dreadful scream coming from his nine months pregnant husband. "Hey what's wrong?" Lance questions. "I dunno they probably just kicked or something." Keith said with a smile that then turned into a pained frown. "Are you sure they just kicked?" Lance said placing his hand on Keith's swollen abdomen.
"I don't know hones-agh Lance it hurts." Tears start to weld in the corner of Keith's eyes. Lance moves his hand under the blanket to feel a wet spot. "Keith I think you're in labor." Lance spoke getting up. "I'm taking you to the hospital." Keith nods biting his lip.Lance throws on a pair of sweatpants and his shoes.
Keith gently sits up holding his abdomen. Lance quickly rushes over over to Keith with his keys and both phones in his pocket. Lance helps Keith walk slowly out the door. Lance opens the front door locking it as the two walk out. Keith groaned as Lance picked him up.
Lance opens up he passenger door to his Ford Fusion. "Keith can you hold on a little longer?" Keith nods a bit. " I can try but I can't-hng make any promises." Keith pants out. Lance shuts the passenger door and runs around to the drivers side.
"Keith I am going to need you to breath for me ok?" Lance asks as he buckled up and grabs his hand. "P-please hurry!" Keith groans. "I'm trying to but I need to make sure your ok." Lance says letting go of Keith's hand to start the car. Lance pulls out of the driveway. "Lance I don't think I can make it." Keith said tears spilling out. "I need you to hold on a little longer." Lance said in a worried tone as he drove towards the hospital.
After a drive of Keith's screams and Lance assuring him that he will be ok the two made it to the hospital. "We're here baby." Keith sighed in relief but still had a pained expression. Lance takes the keys out of the ignition and unbuckles himself to get out l. Keith tries to open the door to get out but has trouble. Lance gets to the passenger side and opens the door.
As Lance walks Keith into the emergency room the lady at the desks jumps up quickly. " I think my husband is in labor." The lady nods and calls a nurse up. "Nurses Kayla will be here soon." Lance nods and pulls Keith to his chest. "You're going to be ok love" Lance assure him kissing his forehead.
Lance stood the for a few minutes texting their friends as soon as K org was taken back.

Lance: guys I need y'all to get to the hospital rn 3:28 AM
Hunk: What's wrong? 3:28 AM
Lance: Keith is in labor. 3:29 AM
Hunk: ok I'm on my way. 3:30 AM
Pidge: Hunk pick me up. 3:30 AM
Shiro: Omw with Adam and Krolia 3:32 AM
Lance: ok see you soon. 3:33 AM
"Lance McClain?" Nurse Kayla says looking at Lance. She smiles before she spoke again. "Your husband is in labor and we need you in there but I need you to pout on some scrubs." Lance nods shoving his phone into his pocket. "Right this way." Lance follows Kayla to a supply and was handed a pair of pale blue scrubs on and follows Kayla to Keith's room.
"Lance." Keith cried out as soon as he sees Lance. "Yes I'm here." Lance says as he walks over to Keith and grabs his hand. Keith groans as he gets another contraction. "The time between his contractions are getting short." One of the nurses call out to the doctor. Lance feels the grip on his hand tighten as he hears another scream. " I think is time sir." The nurse states as the doctor spits out directions to the nurses. "You ready Keith?" Keith nods.
"Ok Keith one three push one...two...three...push" Keith then pushes. Lance hears the heart monitor speed up causing him to worry. "Sir we might have to give him a c-section." one of the nurses say. The doctor nods signaling one of the nurses to put a mask on Keith causing him to knock out. "Then Lance was told to leave for a few minutes."
