Sorry if this is out of character but I've only watched 5 episodes on Yuri!!! On ice

Saito's pov

I ran through the streets, running into people as I apologized. I had slept in and was late for my competition. I suddenly ran head first into someone, almost falling back but managed to stop myself.

"I'm so, so sorry" I apologised, about to start running again but then realised I had no idea where I was. "Who are you?" someone growled. "Umm. I'd love to stay and chat but I'm kinda late. Could you give me directions to the music competition" I asked, switching my weight between both my feet.

"I'll show you, its not like I have anything better to do" he groaned before grabbing my wrist and leading me off somewhere. I tried to keep up, managing to keep pase with him.

"Here you go. Don't know why you couldn't find your own way" he growled, I thanked him and went to the stairs of the building.

Yuri's pov

I watched as this girl went running up the stairs but fell on the stairs. She quickly got up but ran right into the closed door, clutching her nose. "Oh right, door" she spoke and grabbed the handle and rushed in.

I looked at the poster outside and read over the stuff for the competition and decided to go see this girl play. I knew she was competing since I saw the case of an instrument on her back. I walked up the stairs and into the building.

Following the signs, I made my way into a room with people who were in seats. I sat down in one of them, keeping my hood up. "Next up, Kensaku Saito" a man announced as the same blackette walked onto the stage, a fiddle in hand.

She held up the fiddle and started playing, she was very into the song but cringed a many times during the song. Once the song was finished, she walked off the stage.

I decided to go see this girl and walked around to see her packing her instrument into its case and wiping her face with the sleeve of her zipper. "Are you crying?" I asked, walking up.

She looked like she almost jumped out of her skin and turned to the opposite side of me. "I'm over here" I explained as she turned to face me this time. "I'm not crying but who are you?" she replied, fiddling with her sleeve. "Yuri Prisetsky" I replied while she gave me a blank expression.

"The figure skater" I added. "I don't watch figure skating. I can't exactly know what's going on" she explained, looking down. "Why's that?" I asked, looking at her. "I...... I....." she whispered. "You what?" I snapped as she backed up a little.

She didn't speak and just pointed at her eyes. I was confused at first then figured out that she meant she was blind. "Oh. I.... Well... I shouldn't have snapped.... I'm not very good with socialising" he explained.

"It's fine. I just get nervous when people ask about why I don't watch stuff like sport" she replied. "So why were you crying?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "I made so many wrong and off key notes during my song. It's so hard to play the song perfectly when I can't see where I'm placing my hands" she replied, clearly ashamed.

"Maybe you need someway to release your stress. I kinda skipped my practise so I could take you somewhere to help get stress down" I explained, feeling heat rise to my checks.

"That sounds nice. I'd like that" she smiled. I grit my teeth since I'm not normally like this and waited for her to close her fiddle case. Once she had grabbed the case, I grabbed her hand and led her out of the building.

I could see that she was trying to keep pace with me but I was walking too fast so I slowed down a little. I finally got to a public ice rink, bringing her in. She was confused as a guy offered to keep her fiddle while she skated.

She agreed before walking closer to me. "You took me to an ice rink, but I've never skated before" she explained. "Yeah, well I can teach you" I replied, letting go of her hand and crossing my arms.

I got my skates out and she borrowed some and we went onto the rink. People were looking at me and whispering stuff as Saito wobbled into the rink. I grabbed onto her hands and started to skate backwards slowly, bringing her with me.

I managed to get her to skate on her own for a good few minutes but someone skated right into her and she fell to the ground. She clutched onto her leg as blood dripped onto her hands. I looked at the guy who had fallen and noticed that his skate had cut her leg.

Staff members skated over, checking her. "She needs to go to the hospital, it needs stitches" one of them spoke as people were watching. "I'm so sorry miss, I didn't mean to do that" the guy apologized. One of the staff members went off the ice, probably going to phone the hospital as two more remained.

"Shouldn't you get her off the ice" I snapped as one looked up. "She'll lose more blood then she already is and it might make the injury worse, we need to wait till the ambulance gets here" a guy replied, trying to carefully remove Saito's hands from her leg.

I heard the sound of sirens as doctors rushed over and picked her up. I heard painful whimpers from Saito as she was carried off the ice rink. I skated off the rink and took off my skates, putting my normal shoes on.

I was about to run out of the rink when I remembered that they still had her violin. "Hey. Can I get the violin that your holding back here" I ordered when I got to the guy who had it. He handed me the instrument and I swung it over my shoulder, heading to the hospital.

I'm the reason she got injured so I might as well bring her instrument to her, save her the trouble.
