"HARRY, I'm going to drown at this rate!" You spluttered, struggling back to you feet. He grinned and headed out of the water. You trailed behind him like a drown rat.
"You know I would never let you drown." He greeted you at the waters edge with a warm towel, which you gratefully ran into. He wrapped it around you and sat down, pulling you down to sit next to him in the sand.
"Maybe, but I would like to see you fight off a shark that tried to eat me," You grumbled, tracing spirals in the sand with your finger.
"Believe me, I would be able to if it meant saving you," he said, leaning his head on your shoulder.
"Oh yeah, how so?" You asked, turning your head slightly so you could see him out of the corner of your eye.
"Anything. Sacrifice myself?" he tried and you frowned.
"Word of advice, don't EVER be stupid enough to put yourself in between me and a bullet. Or a shark. Or anything for that matter. I couldn't live with it," you said and he shrugged.
"Bev, deal with it," he said simply, following the patterns you had been tracing with his own finger. You turned to face him angrily.
"No! Harry it's so sweet and I love you for it but never be that stupid. Promise?" You said, taking his hands in yours.
"I love you more. And if I had to choose between your life and mine, if I had to choose between breathing and loving you...I would use my last breath to say I love you."
