Lost In You - A Camren Fanfic

"Studying"

When Lauren got home, she immediately started on her homework in attempts to free some time to get ready for Camila's arrival.

After about an hour, she had finished all her homework and began getting ready. She put her hair up in a high ponytail and changed into a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt. She removed most of her makeup, still leaving some eye liner and some lip gloss on.

She was in the midst of cleaning her room when she heard a knock at the door. She quickly stood up and ran down to the stair case, nearly tripping because of her knee. She walked to the door and slowly opened it, just for it to be flung open when Camila hugged Lauren.
Lauren's POV

Stumbling backwards, I quickly composed myself and reciprocated the hug. "Hey you're energetic," I giggled slightly at Camila's sudden outburst.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be, the first day of school ended," she smiled brightly. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face at her excitement.

"Okay, do you want anything, juice, water, chips..." I asked nervously.

"Water is fine, thank you," she giggled at my nervousness.

I descended across the hallway, Camila trailing closely behind me and into the kitchen. "Are your parents home, there's no car in your driveway," Camila pointed out.

"No, they took Chris and Taylor out to a friends party, I said I couldn't go since I'd be with a friend," I said.

She nodded in response. "Sorry I kept you from going to that party," she looked down anxiously.

"No no, it's fine, really, I wouldn't have gone anyway, partying isn't my thing."

"Oh, okay," she shrugged as I handed her a glass of water. She thanked me and we sat down on my couch in the living room. We began looking over our math project, studying the formulas in a comfortable silence, which was broken shortly after.

"So, um, what's the answer to question 11?"

"5.881 kilometers per second," I answered. She scooted closer to me, to the point where there was no space in between us, as she looked at the question I was pointing to.

I looked up to meet her chocolate orbs which were gazing into mine longingly. She leaned closer towards me.

"S-so anyways, d-do you know the answer to number 12?" I stuttered.

She leaned back and looked down embarrassedly, and it took everything in me not to lean in closer to her again, desiring the closeness we had before. I failed miserably at trying, so I leaned closer to her. She looked up and met my eyes. She leaned in closer, her lips were mere inches from mine, her hot breath against my lips causing me to shiver.

"We're back!" Chris yelled as he and the rest of my family entered the house. I jumped away from Camila, as she did the same. My face was bright red, causing me to hide it in my hands as Chris laughed at my reaction. I looked over at Camila who was doing the same as me l, her face red and hidden in her hands.

Soon later I said my goodbyes to Camila and she left the house, walking back to her house since she only lives a few houses down the street.

I glared at Chris who glared back at me, smirking.

"Did I interrupt something with your girlfriend," he asked.

"She's not my girlfriend Chris. Fuck off," I said while walking to my room, slamming my door closed.

I know this chapter was a tease and I apologize *cough cough* not really it's too early for kissing, we'll get there eventually ;) I didn't pre write this so I just came up with the story line as I was writing lol, can't wait for the next chapter...

Update; I haven't updated in a while and I'm definitely going to continue this, so I'll write other chapters, seeing as some people want to read this, so stay tuned..
