Barry sat alone, staring at the wall.

He was terrified if he spoke he would get yelled at.

Again.

So, he sat quietly, praying he would appear invisible.

He couldn't help it; he started to cry quietly.

"Hey," someone said.

Barry turned to look at him, the fear in his eyes obvious.

"Did he yell?" the nice boy asked. Barry nodded.

"Oh, sorry. My name is Leonard, but you can call me Len, Lenny, or Leo."

"I-I like Len," Barry whispered.

"It's ok. As long as you don't yell, you should be fine," Len said.

Barry blushed.

"Oh, don't worry, Scarlet," Len smiled, and Barry blushed. "Why Scarlet?" Barry asked. "Your face," Len admitted, and Barry blushed even harder. "It's Barry," he said finally.

"You already know my name, but the little girl who has been watching you for a while name is Lisa."

Suddenly, a pretty 8-year-old came out from behind the couch.

"Jerk!" she said.

"Quiet!" Lewis yelled.

Barry jumped, fear creeping back in and he started to shake.

"Hey, hey, it's ok," Len said while Lisa crawled into Barry's lap. Barry leaned on Len, and Len rested his head on Barry's.

"We have to stay together, ok? To protect each other," Len said, and Lisa nodded. Barry was already asleep.

...

Len remembered feeling so protective of Barry, wanting to make sure Lewis never hut him again.

Now, he felt like he had failed.

He was supposed to have gotten more money but had instead gotten himself in jail.

What kind of lousy brother does that?

He stared at the way, feeling absolutely miserable and wishing he could freeze the cell doors open.

Suddenly, his hands started to feel cold.

He closed his eyes and held on tighter to the cell bars.

He only opened them when he heard a loud crack.

He looked at where bars should have been in awe.

They were gone.

As soon as he had made it out of the prison, Len rushed to the hospital, he wondered what had happened.

And how to do it again.

When he walked in, he saw Lisa sitting alone, crying quietly.

He moved closer to her and gave her a hug.

"Len-Lenny?"

"Yep. I'm not going anywhere, sis."

She gasped and flung herself into his arms.

"I missed you so much," she whispered, and Len felt the tears soak his shirt.

"Well, I love you and all, but I love this shirt too so..."
