Two weeks later
Ro
White ran off with all the money, I done been calling and searching and this niggah was just gone. I was still going to work trying to keep a low profile but I was pissed. I trusted this niggah and this the shit he pull dawg? Thats some bullshit forreal. It was midnight and I was heading home from work I just needed some sleep. I showered for bout a hour just thinking, got out and just put on some boxers and some sweatpants and went to bed.

I was sleep for bout two hours when three Swat team officers busted in my room. "Get down, we have a warrant for your arrest" "For what I aint did shit" "Get down young man". I got down and they ran up and was about to cuff me when my dad walked in, "Atleast let him put on a shirt and some shoes man". They stood back and let me put it on, then they cuffed me and started walking me towards my door. When I got outside the Swat team, marshalls, officers and the new team was outside. I was pushed into the back of a Swat truck and was headed for jail.

I was took in a room for questioning, I already knew what this was about but I decided to just tell the truth and that would set me free right? Two officers walked in and sat across from me, "We're pretty sure you already know why you're here" "Cause I shot a man?" "So you're admitting to it?" "Yup" "Do you want to make a statement?" "I do" "Tell us what happened" "I was at a gas station, I went in the store paid for gas, pumped it and got back in the car, just as I was about to leave a niggah jumps in my car, he pulled a gun out and tried to rob me, we argued, I pulled my gun out and in fear for my own life I shot him" "So you shot him in self defense?" "Yes I did" "Then what happened?" "He stumbled out of the car so I pulled of and then went straight to work, I was already late" "Who's gun was it?" "Mine" "Is it licensed" "Yes" "Where is it?" "The trunk of my car in my driveway" "Well you do know we have been looking for you for two months and you're our only suspect in this case?" "Thats fine" "You will be booked, proccessed and held in jail"

So was it the exact truth? No but it was gone be the truth for now. Shit I had nobody left and nobody cared anyway so the shit didnt matter. My only concern was I remember them news teams being there this shit was gone be hot on the news today for the whole fucking world to see man. Money, power, and guns was all I wanted and now my life may be fucked up forever all for another dumb decision.

Its been two weeks and wasnt the same, I went to school and work but I was just there physically not emotionally. Everybody tried cheering me up but it wasnt working, I just wanted my bestiee and lover back man. We aint never been separated and the fact that we was cause he was in jail was killing me man. I havent been feeling well aside from missing Face so I closed the shop early and came home around five at night. I knew Tia was still out handling her business so I wasnt expecting her to be home anyway.

I showered, cleaned my room, then headed downstairs to get ice cream out the freezer. I went in the living room and cut the tv on and it was on the six o clock news. The remote was on the other side of the room so I just said fuck it, I got comfortable and ate my ice cream while I watched it.

Breaking News, This Just In Decatur 22yr Old Man Roden Mathews Was Arrested Earlier This Morning In His DeKalb County Home Without Incident. Picture And Video Shown Below, Mathews Have Been Accused For The Murder Of 24yr Old Georgia State Student Adam Beastly Two Months Ago At A Gas Station Also In DeKalb County. I paused it and sat and looked at the tv in shock, this shit just could not be real. First Face get arrested for Murder, then two weeks later Ro gets arrested for Murder as well? I couldnt move, just as I sat there Tia came through the door. "Heeey bestfriend, whats wrong? Still sad about Face? Its gone be okay" "T I think you need to sit down I have something to tell you" "Okay about what?" "Better yet I'll just show you", I got up to get the remote and pressed rewind on the tv until it was right before the story about Ro. I pressed play and let Tia watch it for herself.

"This cant be real? This a joke right?" "No T this shit is real im just as shocked as you are" "He cant be in jail for murder, yeah he did dumb stuff but he aint this stupid" "We can look up his name and see". I pulled out my phone and did a inmate search and true enough now Face and Ro both in the same jail, for the same charge, on two different murders. This shit was too much.

"Then it dont make it no better everybody keep posting the story everywhere" "Kia why the fuck would he do some shit like this man" "T I dont know and the only way for you to find out is to talk to him" "If he even call, we havent spoken in months he think I hate him" "Just give it a minute Im sure he will call" "This shit just did something to me, I cant right now". She walked upstairs with tears falling I hate to see her like this but Im going through the exact same thing at the exact same time. We just got to be strong for eachother now.
