Adam walked beside Jasper and the others on the dock in Duluth. Cole had gotten them mover  outfits from the local museum where the paints were going. Only they weren't going to the museum. The siblings' mother hired them to steal the paintings and bring them to her house back in Owatonna.

"The boxes are over there," Cole said. "Just don't get caught."

Adam nodded and they walked past the other movers. They kept their gaze straight and headed towards two crates. His palms started to sweat as he saw two security guards walk towards them.

"Excuse me. Aren't you Adam Young?" A guard asked. "And why are you here?"

Adam stopped walking and the others stood at a distance.

"Yeah. I'm doing odd jobs for extra money," Adam said. "Why?"

"Alright," one guard said as he walked away.

The second guard pulled out a piece of paper and pen. An awkward smile spread across the guards face.

"My daughter Emily is a fan of your music," the guard said.

He smiled at the guard and signed the paper. The guard put the pen and paper in his pocket and walked away without another word. Adam turned to the group who was near the crate. He jogged towards them.

"You could've ignored him Adam," Jasper growled.

"No I couldn't have. We weren't caught and I told them that-"

"I heard what you said. Now go with Cole to get the truck."

Adam stared at Jasper. "You-"

Jasper glared at him. "Go."

Adam nodded and he noticed that Jasper didn't want to be rude. He and Cole walked across the dock to two rows of trucks. They headed to the last row and found their truck. Adam hopped into the passenger seat and Cole climbed in and started the engine.

"This should be fun," Adam said as Cole drove towards the group.

Cole didn't say anything as Jasper, Kate and two other people loaded the box into the truck. The people that helped them walked away. Cole drove off and out of loading area. Adam relaxed once they were on the highway.

"We have the fake paintings right?" Kate asked.

"Yes. Adam come help me please," Jasper said.

Adam stood up and walked back to help Jasper. The boxes were small and five of them fit in the back of the truck. He pried the lid open and a smile spread across his lips. There was at least $1,226 worth of gold per box. A sixth box held paintings. Adam closed the lid on the box with gold and opened the one with the paintings.  Jasper handed him the fake ones. The switch took ten minuets. They stopped by the museum, unloaded the paintings and went on their way. The gold they kept since the museum didn't have records of the gold being shipped. Adam sat beside Jasper.

"Adam. I really think you should be with us more," Jasper said. "I can't do this on my own."

Jasper had placed a hand on Adam's knee. Adam sighed.

"Fine."

Jasper kissed his cheek and Adam kissed him. He pulled away and smiled despite knowing what he did was wrong. Adam put his hand on top of Jasper's. A warm feeling filled him.

"So. What will you do after we disband?" Adam asked everyone.

"I'll move to Ireland and start a new life," Kate said.

"I have an online job down in Florida. They want me to work in their office," Cole said. "I need to let this go. Even though it is fun."

Adam looked at Jasper.

"I dunno. Maybe try to start a family," Jasper said. "Find someone nice. Or..."

Jasper shook his head and looked away from Adam. He removed his hand from his knee.

"Well. You all know what I'll do," Adam said. "Enjoy what time I have left with my family."

"Assuming none of us get caught," Jasper said.

Adam nodded. He had a plan if he got caught. One his family wouldn't like. A plan that no one would like.

Michael ran his hands through his hair. He paced in his bedroom while waiting for Marshal to come over. Kathy had called ten minuets ago saying that she found a note from Matthew explaining everything. Mike thought of a plan of action in case Kathy turned violent against his dad. He had never seen Kathy hurt Marshal or John or Matt.

"Mike. They're here," his dad said.

Mike walked out of his bedroom and faced Marshal who ran over and hugged him.

"I love you brother," Marshal said.

Mike hugged him back and smiled. Mike figured that their friendship would be stronger. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his dad hug Kathy and apologize. Kathy pushed Mike's dad away and shoved papers into his hands. Her face was red and her brow furrowed.

"He's your responsibility," Kathy said. "Matt wanted you to take care of Marshal. The paperwork is already filled out from when you had them."

"Kathy-"

Kathy stormed out of the house. Mike let go of Marshal and saw that there were piles of boxes in the hallway. He looked at his brother and noticed that he had a bruise on his cheek.

"What happened?"

"She hit me," Marshal said. "John left after the dad's will was read. Mom...Mom went crazy and started hitting me after dad died...why is our family fucked up?"

Mike didn't have an answer. He hugged his brother again and then helped him move Marshal's stuff into his room. His dad sat on a chair and was talking on the phone with tears running down his face. Mike unpacked Marshal's stuff and the two managed to move the guest bed into his room. They set up the gaming console in the living room. Mike sighed and the two played a video game. Not talking about the elephant in the room when Adam came home and started yelling at his dad. Adam was drunk.

His dad walked out saying he wanted Adam to stop drinking and tell him the truth if he was hiding anything.

Adam said he wished he never met Josh.

Marshal told Mike that he wished his dad was alive.

Michael just wanted his family to be normal.
