Summary: Cheryl and Toni kissed, but Cheryl doesn't want to come out. The only person who knows in Kevin. So Kevin was Veronica and Veronica doesn't know. Takes place when they're at Toni's place after 2x17

Both Cheryl and Toni lay in Fangs' bed, seeing how Toni didn't have a place. Both girls were near each other but they weren't touching. But Cheryl could feel Toni's heat on her.
"T?" She asked and faced inward.
"Yeah?" Toni replied and mirrored Cheryl's actions.
"Thank you, for saving me." Cheryl said.
"Oh, yeah. I couldn't let you rot away in there." Toni smiled. Cheryl chuckled lightly before the room fell into silence again. Cheryl found herself leaning in, and kissing Toni softly.
Toni was a little surprised, but kissed Cheryl back. Toni moved closer to Cheryl, lips still locked, so that their bodies were against each other's.
When both girl' pulled out Cheryl couldn't help herself from smiling.
"So, what does this mean?" She asked as Toni grabbed her hand and began playing with it.
"Well, I like you, and you like me." Toni said.
"True." Cheryl continued.
"So, Cheryl Bombshell, will you be my girlfriend?" Toni asked her. Cheryl replied by kissing Toni once more.
But she felt a small hesitance to say yes.
How would Cheryl come out?
She couldn't just say that she was out right a lesbian. What would that do to her image? Would people avoid her?
She didn't want to lose any part of her, but she still wanted Toni. Cheryl prayed that this wouldn't make Toni leave her.
"I, um, just..." Chertyl said as her voice faded off.
"What's wrong, Cher?" Toni asked once she saw Cheryl's discomfort.
"I just don't think I can come out yet." Cheryl said.
Toni understood. She almost expected it. She remembered how hard it was for her to come out, but she had the Serpent's supporting her.
"That's okay, Cheryl, I understand." Toni replied, much to Cherl's surprise.
"Can we still be girlfirned's?" Cheryl asked. Toni nodded and pressed another kiss to Cheryl's lips.
"We can just act like friends at school and in public and stuff." Toni told her.
"That won't bother you or anything?" Cheryl asked her.
Toni didn't quite know how to respond. Of course it would bother her. But she didn't want to tell Cheryl that and guilt her. So instead she said,
"As long as I'm the one who gets to kiss you at night." Which made Cheryl happy.

"Cheryl! Where were you girl?" Veronica asked when Cheryl and Toni made their way into the lounge on Monday morning.
"I was sick. I think it was the flu or something." Cheryl smiled. Kevin gave a confused look to Cheryl, which was countered by a glare so Kevin just looked down.
"I gotta get to class." Toni said and got up to leave before smiling at Cheryl. Kevin quickly shuffled after her.
"Are you two like, a thing?" Veronica asked once it was just Cheryl and her.
