"Don't leave me, please" he begged, his voice cracking as he went down on his knees, tears filled with sadness fell from his eyes, getting lost in the darkness of the room.
All he could see was his body standing right in front of him. He remembered it warm and welcoming but now it just felt distant and unknown. He was moving away from him, not wanting any kind of contact but not being able to stop himself from looking at the one he loved, because he sounded so wrecked and broken it was taking his heart away in pieces.
When their eyes met, puffy read eyes met dark dangerous eyes. He remember the first time they looked at each other like that, he remembered those eyes he loved and he remembered him. Not the boy who was crawling on the floor begging for him not to leave but the boy who made his heart beat for the first time in ages. The boy who had made him happy when everything seemed just not right. The boy with the big eyes and eternal bright smile. He remembered...
Eyes watering, he turned his face back and he took a deep breath, avoiding eye contact. He couldn't look at him again, not in a situation like that, not when all he wanted to do was sit down by his side and wipe his tears away, caress his hair, give him hugs and kiss his cheeks and lips until he was calm, until his breath was back to normal and his chest didn't hurt so bad. Just like he had done to him every single time he was hurting.
But he couldn't do anything.
Because if he did, he would fall for him. Again.
"Please" he said in a painful whisper.
