" OK Bridget, favorite color?" Gwen asked " Um I'd have to say blue like the ocean. Izzy favorite food?" " Devil's food cake, because it's dark and sinfully delicious. Gwen, fav movie?" "Chainsaw massacre, Leshawna favorite book?" " Anything Superman or Green Lantern related, mm mm would I like to be rescued by them. Anyway, Linette sugar, what's your favorite movie?" "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride." "Edgy, I dig that movie too." Gwen chimed in. We were just about to go back to the mess hall and play twister. Right before we got up Owen, Trent, Duncan, and Jeff splashed us while they water skied. They completely soaked us, we glared and grumbled as we stalked back to our cabins. I changed into some comfy hangout clothes.

I took my doodle-book and started doodling random shapes. While I was doodling, all the girls on the island gathered in our cabin. We all started talking about our lives before Total Drama. Things came back around to me, I figured I'd indulge them a little, although I don't really think my life is that interesting. " To be honest it was pretty standard army brat life, moved around a bit. I remember spending a long stretch of time in Japan then when my mom got really sick we moved back here,and few years later she passed away.Dad sent us kids to live with my grandma,he redeployed to Vietnam,this summer he finally retired,we didn't see him much."
" Wow that's harsh." Gwen started to feel bad.
"Ehh, it's not that harsh, I'm grateful for the good in my life. Anyone else have a question for me?" Heather was the first to voice "So was Chris always as hot as he is now?"
"I don't know I don't sexualize my Uncle. But you could ask all the half dressed women that we've found in our kitchen." She blushed a little but seemed satisfied. Leshawna was next to ask me something.
" Anyway, getting back to you, do you have a boo back home? Or are you a single pringle that's ready to mingle?"
"Well..it's a bit complicated" Every girl perked up at this, all side conversations stopped.
" Oh how complicated could it really be, you're either together or you're not." Courtney pressed, everyone stared at me intently.
" Well you see, we don't get to see each other very much,we're just really far away,he's super focused on his studies,we've been good friends for a long time.He used to run around and do odd jobs for my Dad and some other families on base. Oh! Right,there's the fact that he's a bit older than me." I started to explain but was cut off again by Katie
" Whoa whoa whoa, he's older than you? But you're not even an adult yet!"
"How much older is he?" Sadie fired off.
"Well I mean I turn 18 in two days and he's only a few years older than me."
