"Ehhehehemm"Uncle Chris motioned to me and my siblings. "These are my nieces and nephew, they are here to spend time with the family. Linette however has taken it upon herself to try and compete,so yeah."
"Hey everyone my name's Linette it's nice to meet you."I put on a nice smile while I walked closer to Uncle Chris.
"Family bonding?!" "Nieces and nephew?!" "More competition?!" The chorus went. "Enough! Now I want all of you, except Linette Marshall and Sam, on the end of the dock for a promo shot!"Somehow they all complied and I stood next to Chris, yes I can call him Chris now cause the other campers are here.Anyway Dad has made it so that they all fell into the water, I felt bad for them but I was really happy I wasn't wet.
"Alright campers cabins are that way, change into your swimsuits and meet me back here! Now Go Go Go!" I hopped onto my quad and let Marshall hop on,then sped off to the cottage. I changed into A yellow bikini with white polka dots and a swimming skirt that goes over the swim briefs, and I threw on an oversized tank top and black platform flip flops.

Marshall was waiting on my Quad when I came out, I figured I would meet them at the cliff to save myself some time. On my way up I passed all of the campers, some of them called out to me trying to persuade me into giving them rides up the steep hill. I just sped past them so I didn't have time to even think.I was first up there and then everyone trickled in and Chris was the last one to come up. He told us about the challenge and I felt bad for Dad for having to test the safety of this thing.Sometimes Chris could be so cruel. While the campers were deciding who was to go first I was looking for Marshall and Sam. Bridgette ended up going first and I saw Marshall and Sam hiding behind the campers as they tried to sneak up to the cliff. They grabbed each other's hands and ran for it, but I was closer and faster so I tried to grab them.
" Marshall! Sam! No stop it,do Not jump off that cliff!Marshall you can't swim!" But it was just a little too late they were already over the cliff. On their way down the let go of their hands.Sam was headed for the safe zone, but of course Marshall was not because he yet again jumped too close to the edge.Still in my oversized shirt I dove after Marshal since he has a hard time swimming . Before I knew it I hit the water and saw him struggling,I grabbed him when I felt something brush against my foot. Marshall started screaming bloody murder and I started swimming towards the safe zone.If I could get there we would at least be safe. "Daddy!!Help."I yelled and just when I was halfway to the safe zone I looked behind and saw a fin. I heard the roar of an engine, and Dad pulled up right beside me. He ran out and grabbed Marshall onto the boat and I started climbing the rope ladder. Dad pulled me up just in time when a shark popped up and snapped at where my thighs would have been. I fell on top of Dad and I was breathing hard from all of the Adrenalin. Marshall was crying so hard he was starting to hyperventilate. Dad sped the boat to the shore, he flipped a switch that magically made the Escalator run, he took Marshal and sprinted up the steps. I kept up with them, just hoping I could get to my bag in time. I reached my bag and dumped the contents out on the ground. Leshawna was nice enough to rummage with me, and found it. By this time everyone was looking just as desperate as I felt.
"It's okay Marshall you're gonna be okay now, remember just breath in the medicine and hold it for a second." I put his inhaler to his lips and he did as he was told but couldn't help to breath the medicine out. "Marshall you have to breath it in I know you're in pain but you gotta do it." I pinched his nostrils for a few seconds, after doing this a few times Marshal's breathing finally stabilized. I felt drained and so relieved that my heart throbbed a little,or maybe it was just the adrenaline.Dad hovered over him the whole time and finally breathed a sigh of relief. "Hey where's Sam?" I asked Dad. He face palmed, remembering he left her in the safe zone. Dad went back down to get Sam, I picked up Marshall to take him back to the cottage. "I'm gonna take him back, I think he's had enough excitement for one day."
"Fine by me," Uncle Chris gave us a wave "just come back when he's settled." I drove off to the cottage and tucked Marshal into bed, then I headed back down to the cabins. Chris had told me I was on the the Killer Bass team. 'Cause I've got a killer ass' I silently thought,I mentally high five myself and giggled. I took a seat on the steps of the killer bass cabin,Courtney was complaining and soon turned on me. "Hey Just cause you're the hosts family doesn't mean you can just not do anything." Before I could explain to her that I was really tired from,y'know saving my brother, Uncle Chris interjected with his bullhorn. "Actually it does, Linette is excused from the rest of todays challenge.Oh and I'm awarding her invincibility, for courageously diving head first into shark infested waters to save her brother." Chris walked away,I just sat on the steps of the cabin drifting between sleep and consciousness. I woke later to someone poking me and then I started hearing an annoying, shrill voice. DJ was poking me and Courtney was yelling about something.
"Hey we're all about to head to the mess hall for some grub, thought you might be interested."
"Thanks DJ, I guess I really did conk out. Didn't I? Sorry you had to wake me up."
" Ah don't worry about it, you musta been tired after the whole saving your brother thing."
"Uhm yeah I guess. Well let's get a move on shall we?" We followed the group to the mess hall. They all lined up and I walked past them into the kitchen. I grabbed an apple and cut it up into slices. Then I grabbed some left over chicken and sweet potatoes from lunch. Some campers looked jealous, but I really didn't care at the moment.
"Linette, hold on. You forgot something."
"Huh?" I stopped dead in my tracks and slowly walked to my Dad. He handed me a drink and nodded,I looked at it a little confused and took a sip. As soon as I tasted it I livened up.
"Ooo yay it's my favorite!! Merci Papá!" I beamed, Dad  just nodded and went back to serving the slop that Uncle Chris insisted on serving the campers.
