I crash into the water headfirst, allowing the cool salts envelop my scarred body. A pale blue light swirls around me, twirling around and around until my clothes are replaced by a pale blue strapless crop top and a pastel tail in blue, green, teal, and pink. My short hair clouds around my face as it gets longer and longer until it reaches my waist and tames into a billow of almost-black-brown. My deep tan evens out perfectly and adds depth to my slightly darker skin tone. I sigh deeply and bubbles release upward. Then I swim to the top of the water and gulp in some fresh air.
An explosion hits the water beside me and instantly I'm underneath, swimming dolphin-style for all I'm worth, trying to get away from the explosions ringing in my ears.
