"Don't Forget Me" Gaara X OC

Alone//Chapter 1

Third Person POV~

Gaara was playing in a sand box all alone, no surprise there since everybody was too afraid to play with with him. 

The red-headed boy was minding his own business when a ball started to roll towards him, being the decent human being he tries to be, he picked up the ball and looked up to find the one and only Sarrin. 

Yours/Sarrin's POV~

"Hey, can I have my ball back please I was trying to see how high I could throw it into the air", I said to the cute boy sitting in front of me. 'Hmm.. I like his hair...a lotttt' I thought. "Y-you do?" he asked curiously.

 " Oh, uh whoops. I didn't mean to say that out loud, but hey now you know", I said sort of loudly, trying to cover up my embarrassment even though I failed, miserably.

"U-um .. is it okay if we play together ? " he asked shyly. I was slightly surprised that he asked me that, but of course I agreed.

 " Hey! Don't play with that FREAK !" , yelled my friend Kotori. The little boy flinched at my "friend's" harsh words, and I instantly felt guilty. "Kotori, do NOT talk about my new bestie like that or else we will have some problems!" , I yelled with new-found confidence.

 I could tell that the timid boy next to me did not expect me to stand up for him. Well, because, nobody ever did. Everyone was always too scared of him, because he is a jinjuriki. "Watch your back Sarrin", hissed your now EX-friend, Kotori.

Gaara's POV~

'Wow I can't believe this beautiful girl stood up for me, I must know what her name is', I thought. "Excuse me, what is your name?", I asked trying to sound as confident as possible. "Oh, me? Heh, my name's Sarrin Namikaze, I am the future flash .. of the sand", she said boldly. ( A/N The Flash reference lmao, ok I'll go now.. ) . "Well I am Gaara of The Sand, a-and I hope to be Kazekage one day", I shared.

 ' Her voice is so angelic and her smile is so welcoming, She reminds me of my mother, I think I am feeling happiness again, as I once did with my mom who is now dead ' , I thought with slight confusion.

Third Person Pov again~

"Ugh, I am so sorry Gaara, but I have to go. We can play tomorrow for sure ! ", Sarrin beamed. "Okay, I should head home also.", Gaara simply stated.

Sarrin's thoughts on Gaara: He was shy, but nice and cute.

 He will be a really good friend I can tell already, and I hope to bring him happiness, because being shunned by the village and even your family seems to be draining and depressing.
