Raven's P.O.V.

Apple was acting weird today. Well she's weird, but this was a different type of weird. It was like a villainous aura coming from her. The vibe was not normal. I'm pretty sure I know why too. I mean how would one expect her to react after witnessing such a scene earlier? Of course she would be mad! Now that I think about it...I feel like I need to talk to Cerise. She must have a lot on her mind. And also I think my eyes were lying to me, but I think I saw her look kind of different. Kind of strange if you ask me.

   RING! RING! RING!

   "Hello?"
"Hey, this is Raven. The Evil Queen's daughter", I said, "Want to talk?".
"Um...sure. Let's meet at the dark forest", replied Cerise.
"I'll meet you over by the biggest tree".

I have the need to be friends with her. Maybe because she's not scared of me like everyone else in this school is.

Raven slipped on her shoes and went out the door. A barely awake Apple suddenly woke up and opened her eyes. She rubbed them both before reaching down her pocket to get her phone. She knew exactly what she was going to do next.

Cerise's P.O.V.

Ugh I am so tired, and it's so late at night. The moon is so bright. It's close to the night of the full moon isn't it? Maybe that's why my wolf genes acted up earlier. That sure was a scare. I can't imagine what I'd do if I actually turned into a werewolf! Everyone would be looking at me!! That is so embarrassing!!I am already nervous just thinking about it...and I would instantly disappear right?! I'm just paranoid and scared of what tricks my body will do to me. I can't even trust my own self.

My ears twitched as soon as I heard branches breaking and leaves crunch on the ground. Is that Raven? I sure hope it is...

"Hey Cerise!", said a familiar voice. It was none other than Raven Queen.
"Oh hi! What did you want to talk about?", I asked.
"About earlier. The whole thing with Hunter and Ashlynn to be specific".
"Well...what about it?", I asked.
"I don't know if anyone noticed, but you looked kind of strange for a second. I don't know if I was the only one who noticed or if my eyes were fooling me, but I'm pretty sure something weird was going on", Raven recounted.
"I-I don't know what your are talking about...", I replied. She is catching on.
"No. You do know what I am talking about...don't you?", she said. Raven looked certain that she knows what saw was true.
"Nope. I don't", I urged.

Raven looked straight at me and wouldn't look away. I am really intimidated. My heart is racing. She's going to find out, isn't she?!

"Cerise. You can trust me. I know that I am supposed to be the soon to be 'evil queen', but that doesn't necessarily mean I will betray you or hurt you or anything like that. I want to get to know you better. I'm sorry that I'm approaching this the wrong way -it seems-, but keep in mind that I really don't know how make friends...", Raven lamented.

Maybe I should be friends with her. She seems to really want to be my friend, right?

"I never really had any...everyone was always too scared of me or just thought I was some freak...", Raven mumbled as she was looking down seemingly holding her tears in.
"It's okay. I believe you. I need you to keep this a secret between us and only us. Promise?", I asked. I'm ready to trust her.
"Yes! Pinky swear!".

We pinky swore. My eyes were closed as I took a deep breath. I'm about to risk it all by doing this, but I believe it's worth a shot. She did open up to me, so I must return the favor.

I explained to her everything. From my family all the way to my daily struggle to keep it all a secret. She was surprised and very interested all the way throughout the explanation. She knew how drastic the situation is. I know I can trust her. I just feel it.

After I told her everything, I heard something approach by. It smelled familiar. Too familiar.

"That was a lot to take in, but it was worth it", Raven told me.
"Yeah we just have to keep it all a secret. Do you think you can handle it?" I asked.
"You should've asked before telling me this, but yes", Raven giggled.
"Yeah, right", I giggled, "let's head on going now".

Cerise and Raven walked out of the Dark Forest and headed their separate ways.

"So she does have a secret, eh?", Ashlynn said, "and it's a huge one alright".
