KITCHEN
That’s the place to be, mom’s kitchen
Food and laughter was our riches
Each other’s company so delicious
An adventure washing dishes
Love coaxed ambition
No bitchin

ENOUGH!
Dear daughter, loving you should be enough.
Don’t worry mom, it’s not that bad
Stop! I don’t call your bluff!
His love for me is rad.
Love is definitely not rough!
The best I’ve ever had.
He is not goodnough!
I’ll change a tad.
You are, goodnough!
No, I’m bad
You’re enough!
Be glad.
Manipulative!

(Double Tampoen)TROY
The love of my life called, Troy
You are such a good boy
You bring love and joy
Dart after your toy
Jump for joy
My boy
Troy
Old boy
No more overjoy
Tranquil life now enjoy
Whiskers tremble at snoring ploy
Heartbeat at my feet, little boy
The love of my life called, Troy
(Mirror Tampoen)The 3rd week’s entries for the @PoetsPub ‘Let’s Create - May 2018 Contest’ was a Tempoen also created by @BillTemple1957.
We were allowed to enter 3 poems, Normal Tampoen, Double Tampoen and a Mirror Tampoen.
The Tempoen consists of 28 words, divided into 7 lines, that all rhyme.
The layout of the Tempoen is very simple:
Line 1 consists of 7 words
Line 2 consists of 6 words
Line 3 consists of 5 words
Line 4 consists of 4 words
Line 5 consists of 3 words
Line 6 consists of 2 words
Line 7 consists of 1 wordsThe last word of line 1 must be rhymed with lines 2-6.
The 7th line (1 word) is the same as the end of line 1.
The last word of line 1 is also the title of the Tempoen.
When reading the Tempoen, it should read easily from top to bottom (lines 1-7), as well as from the bottom to the top (lines 7-1). It should make sense both ways. It should be aesthetically visual.
