Chapter 7 (Days)

-Chapter 7-

Ryan:

We entered our class room and headed to our seats. Cassey was seated beside me, while James was seated in front of me, beside Kaity. Not so long after, our teacher arrived. "Ok class, today we will have a pair activity. Your partners will be the person beside you."

Our teacher handed out small papers to each partner, as well as a ball, a long piece of wood, and a timer.

As soon as our teacher told us what to do, we headed down to the empty field downstairs.

The pairs sat down together at every side of the field, and left no spot empty. Cassey spotted a open space near the corner of the field. We sat there and started to work on our stuff.

Me and Cassey finished faster than anyone else, so we decided to help James and Kaity. I offered Cassey my hand to help her stand up. Just when she got to her feet, she lost her balance and fell into my arms. It's like time got slower as that moment happened and I didn't know why.

Cassey stood up and said, "Umm....Thanks Ryan." I quickly stood up and smiled. "You're welcome. We are friends, aren't we." I said while scratching my neck.

When we turned around, we saw everyone looking at us, even the teacher was. We figured they saw everything that happened, and felt so embarrased.

We both just sat down again, and waited till everyone went back to work. After 5 to 10 seconds, we both stood up, not losing our balance, and went to help James and Kaity.

Cassey:

I got home in a jiffy, and laid down on my bed. I texted my best friend Kaity. "Hey Kaity help me with Ryan." I texted. She already knew I liked him. I don't keep any secrets from my BFF, unless I have to.

-The next day-

I walked up to the school gate seeing Kaity at the entrance. "Got your txt. Leave it to me." she said.

We arrived at our main classroom and saw Ryan passed by. He smiled and waved and we just did the same in return.

-End of the day-

The day went fast. Me and Kaity just stood beside the gate waiting for Ryan after class. He told us earlier that he wanted to introduce somebody to us.

We saw Ryan walking towards us, with a girl beside him.

Ryan spotted us and approached us and introduced his friend. "Cassey and Kaity, meet my kindergarden friend Megan, Megan Blue." he said. "It's nice to meet you." she said with a smile on her face.
